Exclusive: Donatella Versace in Style.com/Print

On Monday, Style.com will launch their much talked about print edition. It’s called Style.com/Print—easy to remember—and will cost $ 14.99 on newsstands.
The magazine, which covers the spring summer collections that just wrapped up in Paris three weeks ago, is supposed to emulate the online experience in print form. It may sound like a backwards concept, but given the content (and the editors behind it) we imagine it’ll have no problem racking up the kind of pageviews the online site’s become accustomed to.
Lindsey Wixson’s on the cover, shot by rumored beau Theo Wenner, and stars in a 23-page editorial tracking her from Kansas to Paris inside. There are interviews with Azzedine Alaia and Donatella Versace, who tells Tim Blanks, “All these people reacting to what was in the archives—Gaga, the people in London, the young kids in the office—they’re 25-years-old, they’re obsessed…It’s not intellectual; It’s not art or science—it’s about giving people pleasure, making them feel gorgeous. This is what people react to.” The print edition’s also full of lists, like the top ten collections as ranked by editors as well as readers and the best dressed show-goers.

Erdem for Liberty of London
The BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Awards 2010 winner Erdem Moralioglu are having collaboration with Liberty. The 10-piece line includes tea and shirt dresses, skirts in Liberty’s classic fabrics Mabelle and Phoebe. “I was determined it would be almost not identifiable. I kind of wanted to destroy it and build it up again. The pieces are not even seasonal. They’re to keep forever and wear whenever you want.” said Erdem. The line will be in stores in june, price range from £325 to £995.
