I wasn’t all that confident about Helena Christensen for Reebok – till I saw the photographs. I am sold. Christensen still stuns at 43 in a cutaway 1-piece that is somehow sexier than most bikinis and some black sneakers. This campaign does a lot far more for creating sporty look high fashion than many of the designers who have tried to implement athletic looks on their runways. Just sayin’.

The model also participated in Reebok’s Satisfaction Campaign, which sought to survey European females for what most satisfies them.

“I travel a lot with my perform, so spending time with my family and pals is critical to me,” Christensen mentioned. She also mentioned reading in bed gives her the ultimate satisfaction. Whatever you say, Helena, but that body appears wasted on a great book.

 Model Baseball Cards: Take a Look Through All the Fall/Winter 2012 Show Packages Show Packages: believe of them as baseball cards for the fashion set. For casting directors, they’re pertinent to their jobs in the days leading up to Fashion Week, but for the rest of us… well, they’re another excuse to ogle fairly faces, and take a look at who will be gracing the runways for the duration of the upcoming week. The biggest agencies are rolling out their strongest lineups this season…and while some present rather simple packages featuring easy photographs of their models, there are a handful of that take creative license in the best way.


Ford models outfitted their girls in the tradition of lazy-luxe glamor: white silkscreen Ford sweatshirts, uplifted by dramatic period effects: floor-sweeping skirts and dusters, petticoats, headdresses, feathered boleros, fur stoles and coats that will make you want to stroke your pc screen. IMG has to be the most striking package by far, turning their currently statuesque models into literal works of art, superimposing their likenesses into iconic western paintings that are as recognizable to the art history geek as the models are to the fashion-obsessed.

DNA, Women, Supreme, and Key kept theirs simple–black and white, or neutral hued shots of their girls. Soul Artist and Muse embraced the graphic vibe: Muse imbued every single shot with the modest red and green dots and bold lettering characteristic of comic book art, whilst Soul Artist framed each and every girl’s shot with elaborate doodles you might discover in the notebook of a college student at the end of a a three-hour seminar.

Generations of Rauzans then helped develop the reputation of the brand to the point where it became 1 of the most highly-rated in Bordeaux, enticing a steady stream of jet-setting guests over the years, including Thomas Jefferson.

After acquiring the estate in 1994, Chanel hired New York architect Peter Marino to restore the château to its original 1903 splendor, which contains a lush park and green spaces filled with 100 year old plane trees, climbing rose bushes, hydrangeas, blond Bourg stone and verdant lawns.

To celebrate its 350th anniversary, the winery had Kaiser Karl design the label for the 2009 vintage, a crisp &amp delicate Margaux which Robert Parker lauded as extraordinary and possibly their greatest wine considering that the 1986. Though this wealthy, silky and sophisticated Grand Cru Classé won’t be for sale till March, it can now be pre-ordered for $ 129.

On the off likelihood you hadn’t noticed the Net-a-Porter ads blanketing every fashion internet site and counting down the seconds until Karl Lagerfeld’s new affordably priced line Karl launches exclusively on their site–or joined Karl’s kult and Karl-ified oneself (or your kat) with Net-a-Porter’s Karl iPhone app–here’s one more tease for the Karl line, which goes on sale Friday.

We got to preview the collection yesterday and it is both really Karl and extremely wearable. Costs range from $ 25 for a tote to about $ 1300 for a leather biker jacket. The collection has a difficult masculine Karl-esque edge with lots of cropped leather biker jackets and vests on the greater priced end, and a relaxed virtually Alexander Wang-feeling set of much more athletic-inspired pieces on the lower end, which includes soft tees printed with Karl’s face and boxing shorts total with a giant ‘Karl’ logo as a faux belt buckle. Of course, this is still Karl Lagerfeld, so there is glamour, too, in the way of sequined shorts, leggings and a high-waisted skirts, a silvery blouse, and roughed up cracked silver denim. The color range is unsurprisingly limited–everything is black and white and silver with 1 dash of pastel pink on a denim vest.

The invite for today’s Chanel Couture show was a hint of the spectacle that was to come. A view from Chanel Air, we cried, how chic! And the show more than lived up to our expectations…

As we reported yesterday, this week’s Couture shows are more extravagant than ever, and the fashion pack were in a flurry thanks to limited seating at the Chanel show. Why? Because of the dramatic set that rivals any of Karl Lagerfeld’s other creations. And this morning, we discovered just how dramatic it is.

Frederic Fekkai celebrity stylist Adir Abergel Tended to the tresses of actress Kate Beckinsale at the Underworld premiere in Hollywood.  Adir began by applying Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel to wet hair at the roots to lift the hair and Fekkai Highlight Care Illuminating Cream at the ends to seal in moisture.

He then blow-dried the hair using a round brush to add body. Next, Adir took a 1-inch curling iron and curled the hair starting two inches down from the roots, going away from the face. He finished the look by applying Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream for extra shine.
