ABC’s new hit Television show As soon as Upon a Time hooked me in from the extremely beginning! It’s a fairy tale told with a twist, and a show that you have to watch from the starting to grasp every single nuance. It is also a wonderful supply of fashion inspiration.

If you haven’t noticed it, it is essentially a story about Snow White. It begins when Snow White and Prince charming are about to get married and the Evil Queen curses them (and absolutely everyone else living in Snow White’s fairy tale) back to a modern day day town, exactly where the characters don’t bear in mind who they are or why they reside in a little town named Storybrook. Only the Evil Queen (who becomes the modern day day Mayor named Regina) knows who each character actually is.

Henry (Regina’s tiny boy) is given a quite essential story book by his teacher, Mary Margaret, and he begins to figure out this mystery with the assist of his biological mother, Emma. The Evil Queen’s inner workings start to unravel and items start to alter for great.

Confusing, I know, but when you start watching it you will not be in a position to stop! Trust me.

For this outfit, I chose a lace best that can be layered with a navy blue cardigan with bow facts. Next, I chose a floral skirt and beige/pink flats. When accessorized with an apple necklace and a leather satchel, you will be ready to begin singing with the animals in the forest and hanging out with your preferred seven dwarf buddies. Emma Swan (Snow White’s Daughter) plays the savior in this show. She also becomes the Deputy for Storybrook. As such, her wardrobe is easy: She typically wears her trusty leather jacket, a white t-shirt/tank, and a nice pair of jeans. Do not be fooled by the easy pieces, though – her style is not boring! Accessories make all the distinction here: I utilised a green scarf, watch necklace, ring, and star earrings to spruce up this appear. Then, for your hair, just curl it all more than and tousle. You’ll have the perfect Emma Swan look!

Henry is Regina’s adopted son and Emma’s real son. (Confusing, I know.) He is quite trendy for a person so young, and I thought I would capture his youthful appear in a way that would be wearable for college women everywhere.

I chose a plaid button up, and a black peacoat for the best. Then, I paired that with some straight legged jeans and black boots. For the accessories, I chose to go with a chunky knit scarf as nicely as braided bracelets, a “Believe” ring, and a key necklace. All of these whimsical accessories add to the “Henry” appear and capture this motivated child’s style perfectly.

Continuing our ever-common Disney fashion series, this week we have a new film for inspiration! Walt Disney’s The Aristocats is undoubtedly amongst my preferred animated films. The charming storyline follows a household of felines whose plush life gets turned upside down when they are suddenly cat-napped and taken to far away and unfamiliar location. Fortunately for Duchess and her three kittens, Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz, they meet a street-intelligent alley cat named Thomas O’Malley who aid them uncover their way back home.

In the movie, Marie is easily a single of the most loveable characters. Her feminine charm is excellent inspiration for your own wardrobe – if you have a super girly sense of style, this is the post for you!

About Marie

• She is a lady, and proud of it! Becoming the only girl in the family members with two brothers, she constantly reminds absolutely everyone that she ought to be respected for the lady that she is.
• She dons a large pink bow collar and matching hair bow as a element of her signature look.

Fresh’s Clicquot in the Snow

About those gifting suites at Sundance. They supply everything—from Grey Goose cocktails and Ryka sneakers to Burton swag and NineZeroOne Braids, from Moroccan Oil to McCafe cookies with a side of Puma and Patron. Fundamentally, you could eat and groom and drink your way down the strip with no spending a dollar. But there was a single space that felt like the Bryant Park to the rest of Park City’s Chelsea galleries—the Sorel/Fresh lounge.

Disney’s The Princess And The Frog is the most recent addition to their collection of princess classics.

For these of you who haven’t seen the film, the story follows an ambitious New Orleans native Tiana who desires nothing a lot more than to personal her own restaurant. In classic Disney style, absolutely nothing actually goes as planned (thanks in part to villain Dr. Facilier), but in the finish, Tiana finds accurate enjoy in the most unlikely of locations.

Tiana’s best friend is resident girly-girl Charlotte LaBouff. Though very spoiled, “Lottie” is a cheerful and caring individual who would do something to help her very best friend. Although not a primary character, Lottie is a loveable addition to the story. Her signature feminine style is a enjoyable source of fashion inspiration, as effectively. Grazia Every day: How important was reading for you when you were growing up?
MP:  Incredibly essential. With 5 youngsters, my mother couldn’t read us all bedtime stories individually, so each evening she would sit on the landing that all of our bedrooms led off, and read aloud although we all listened. It was magical, and instilled a adore of books that I have by no means lost. Effective writing stays with you forever. Fashion darling Rachel Bilson stars as Zoe Hart, the title character of the new hit TV show Hart of Dixie. She plays a very fashionable doctor who recently moved from New York City to the small town of Bluebell, Alabama. The true southern belle, Lemon Breeland, criticizes Zoe’s modern style choices which include short shorts, high waisted skirts, and clingy dresses.

Two weeks ago, I wrote about Lemon Breeland’s style from Hart of Dixie, and I received a ton of comments wanting a post on style inspiration from Zoe Hart. Without further ado, here’s a breakdown of Zoe’s style and three outfits inspired by her look.

Zoe’s Style 101

Zoe Hart is known for her impeccable style sense, and you can easily achieve her look by adding a few key pieces to your closet:

• Chunky, high heeled boots or Oxford heels (See outfit #1 & #2 for ideas)
• High-waisted shorts
• Leather bomber jacket
• Button-up blouse in white or black (See outfit #1)
• Body-con/fitted skirt
• Structured dress that could be worn to work or on a date
• Simple jewelry

Although Zoe’s outfits on the show are really expensive because they all include spendy designer pieces, you can still get the same style while picking pieces at more affordable prices. The key to Zoe’s look is to be chic and trendsetting and that, my friend, can be found at ANY store.

Here are a few different outfits you can try out to achieve the Zoe Hart look…

Outfit #1:

{Top} {Shorts} {Shoes} {Rings} {Necklace}

This first look is a flirty ensemble that would be great for going to the mall with your friends or even for a coffee date. Zoe Hart loves her high-waisted shorts and chunky heels – these chunky oxfords are perfect for her look. Add a flowy blouse with button details for a romantic flare. When it comes to accessories, Zoe is very simple – she usually only wears a few simple pieces – so finish the look with a simple necklace and rings.

Outfit #2:

This next outfit is a trendy classic. Zoe LOVES to wear black and white, and she also loves stripes, so I combined them for a look that’s quintessentially her. To achieve this look, pair a striped shirt with a heavier leather jacket, and add some boot-like heels. The skirt is a simple body-con black one, and can be worn with lace tights. Again, the jewelry is simple – just a single necklace and some rings are perfect in order to add some texture to the outfit.

Outfit #3:

{Sweater} {Pants} {Shoes} {Bracelet} {Necklace} {Purse} {Earrings}

This outfit is more of a laid-back look that Zoe would wear around the house or while running errands. The chunky sweater, paired with black skinnies, creates the perfect combination for a chic, yet relaxed look. The teal flats add some color to the outfit, while the accessories are a little bit bolder .

Film is my all-time favored source of fashion inspiration. From blockbuster hits to tiny indie flicks, you can bet that a team of individuals spent hours making the best sartorial look that aids tell their story in a cohesive way. Oftentimes, the actor or actress has some input in the style of the character they play — and that was absolutely the case in the movie Desperately Searching for Susan.

Madonna was cast in this film largely because of the appear and feel they wanted to bring to the film. Her style defined the appear of a decade, and Desperately Searching for Susan serves as the best lookbook for the era.

Desperately Seeking Susan is a comedy of errors starring Rosanna Arquette and of course, Madonna. Roberta (Arquette), a bored housewife living vicariously by way of a string of romantic classified ad messages in between Susan (Madonna) and Jim, is plagued with amnesia and is left believing that she is Susan. A semi-sheer lace tunic and leggings make the excellent base for this chic outfit. Add some glamour with studded stilettos, a leopard headband, and red lipstick. Finish the appear by adding an Eye of Providence necklace, alluding to the iconic jacket worn by Madonna in the film.
