For being a very commercial brand, Bruuns Bazaar still have it all going on. Perfect balance between being wearable, trendy, amazing fabrics creating pieces in perfectly flattering cuts. I would describe it as somewhere between minimal and Wow. I could do with the entire collection.

Stine Goya didn’t schock me in any way, but they did what they truly do best. And that is patterns. Incredible, innovative, new ways of patterns. The color palette, the pieces, it all came in pure perfection. Loved the show, the setting, the private feeling of the huge apartment with the different rooms and the romantic atmosphere. The flowers in the hair, everything together just made this show one of the best from Copenhagen Fashion week.

Apart from the end of the show, where the models had less and less fabric to hide under, the show was really good. The clothes was great, even though the amazing layer-on-layer styling might have done a big part of the work. The romantic feeling for spring was present, but slightly stronger with less flowing maxi-dresses and more tailoring skills. Love the camel colored blazed and high-waised, wide legged trousers. The dress in the middle has a very interesting cut, shades that melt together and shoulder and hip details to make it all more interesting.

Even though I get slightly sad and betrayed thinking of brands like Minimarket that leaves their base (Sweden) to show in another city I can’t help but be proud in way too. Minimarket is just too great to not be all over the fashion scene. Even if this collection is as far away from their last s/s as possible! I’ll never get over those wonderful color explosions, the tailored 6o’s feminine suits and to-die-for hats and wedges. But this wasn’t bad either. Very far from! Minimarket is getting stronger, harder and more edgy now when they moved to CPH and I haven’t really had the time to melt it yet, but my love for them is still very strong.

Fendi’s latest ads are without doubt inspired by the very admired and talented Edward Hopper. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the ads feels very arty instead of fashionable. In a good way. The colors, the rooms and even the positions the models are standing in is very Hopper. Inspiration without copying! Everything with a touch of Lagerfeld to it makes this ads very interesting.
