It was lately announced that New Zealand-based fashion designer Karen Walker would be making an exclusive, lower-priced collection for Anthropologie.

According to Fashionologie, the collection — named Hi There from Karen Walker — will include ”cute dresses, enjoyable prints, and robust colors.” Hi There from Karen will be available at 164 Anthropologie stores across the United States beginning in March 2012.

Marchesa is the latest designer to collaborate with online beauty ecommerce site Beauty.com for its designer bag series, a program that gives shoppers of the site a limited edition bag from one of its designer partners.  For Marchesa’s collaboration, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have created an uber romantic nude silk and black lace pouch filled with lots of goodies for purchases of $ 150 or more.

“For February 2012, we wanted to create a makeup bag that was both demure and romantic. The nude and black lace design adds a delicate tone while the soft case makes it easy to pack and store. It’s the perfect go everywhere beauty bag for the season,” said Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig.

Great news, Hunger Games fans: nail polish organization China Glaze is set to release a collection based on the über-common book series-turned-film franchise!

Dubbed Colours of the Capitol, the collection will include 12 shades, each and every inspired by one particular of the districts of Panem. The collection will launch on March 1st in order to coincide with the release of The Hunger Games movie on March 23rd. Each limited-edition polish will retail for $ 7 and be readily available at China Glaze retailers like ULTA and Sally Beauty Provide.

I am Number Four actress Teresa Palmer is going to be the new face of Artistry cosmetics and skin care line.  Artistry, a prestige beauty brand owned by Amway, has been positioning itself to compete with other skin care and color cosmetic brands in its price point and category so its befitting to nab the stunning Aussie as its global brand ambassador.
