Natalia Vodianova for Stella McCartney a/w 2010 campaign
We love Natalia Vodianova and we just can’t get enough of her. And neither can Stella McCartney. She choose the stunning model to front her ads again this season. It feels like the model and the brand are made for each other. Natalia is stunning and if possible even more so dressed in Stella’s creations. Once again, cartoon characters by Barry Reigate is giving that extra touch to the pictures.
She told WWD, she was after “something direct and simple, using Natalia and key collection pieces, contrasted by humor and a human touch in the treatment of the logo.”

Crystal Renn no longer a plus-size model?
Crystal Renn, the amazing plus-size model seems to have lost a few pounds. Not very plus anymore. Maybe she just realized that it’s more lucrative to be skinny vs a plus-size. Or maybe the pressure just got to hard. But according to her agence, Crystal have neither gained or lost weight lately, her body’s just like it was. We say: Yeah right!!
Celine Fall Campaign 2010
So this is Marc Jacobs latest fall ads for 2010. Just like his previous campaigns, they have been shot by Juergen Teller and this style with the white frame has became his trademark. Or not! This is actually Celine’s latest ads, even though I thought it was Marc Jacobs at first sight. Wonder why? This ads are so, so, so Marc! Shame on you Celine! You create clothes to die for but you really need to look into your advertisement department.
Sofia Coppola to direct new Dior ads
Sofia Coppola has already directed a fragrance commercail for Miss Dior Cherie a few years ago as well as designed both handbag and shoes for Louis Vuitton, so she’s def. not a newbie to the fashion industry. Apart from that, she’s actually even starred in a LV ad. Rumors now is that she’s getting back to work for Dior, and after seen in Paris directing (photos underneath), we think she’s there to direct the new fragrance for Dior starring Natalie Portman, who signed on to be the new front-face for Dior Perfums last month.
Anna Dello Russo to launch fragrance
Anna Dello Russo never stops surprising! We’re as obsessed with her tweets as with her street-style, which is kind of legendary in itself nowadays. And latest thing to check of is a perfume signed by her. Her new perfume Beyond smells of Vanilla and Almonds (maybe too sweet for such a strong characteristic person?). But the packaging is soo Anna. A golden, sparkling heel…
Moschino Love by Garance Dore
French fashion blogger Garance Dore has shot the latest fall ad campaign for Moschino Love. Moschino Love is the younger more hip line of Moschino and they probably choose to use a young hip street-style photographer instead of a big fashion name to attract a younger crowd. It’s a nice blog meets street-style feeling to the ads and I love Garance Dore’s both personal and photographic style.
Cheap Monday Tight Net Jeans
I was at the Cheap Monday sale yesterday and found several pieces on such a heavy discount, I just couldn’t resist buying some. I normally have strong opinions about clothes, and even if it’s a sale, I don’t buy things just because they are cheap if I don’t think I’m gonna wear them. And then I found these jeans. The style reminds me of the leather paneled leggings I was literally living in last winter, but just a little bit uglier. The light blue high-waisted jeans with fish-nets details in the front and the back are indeed quite ugly at first sight, but when I tried them on with a loose white tee and high heels, it actually kind of worked. They are ugly-cool in a way. Maybe we just need to get to know each other to fall in love. Or maybe not. Maybe it will be another of those pieces you hide away in the back of the wardrobe and that will never see daylight. Do I make sense?
