If you're in NYC on July 28, head to Times Square – specifically Broadway between 43rd and 44th – from 9am-11am to “Declare Your Denim” and celebrate all things Denim with Teen Vogue. The event will feature a charity denim drive in partnership with Fashion Delivers Charitable Foundation, to benefit victims of the Gulf Coast oil disaster; either donate to have a new pair of denim donated from one of Teen Vogue's denim sponsors, or donate a new pair of your own. The magazine also collaborated with Essie on a limited edition bold blue nail polish of the same name to celebrate back to school fashion and, of course, everyone’s favorite fall fashion staple: the classic blue jean. Each donation/purchase of denim will come with a bottle of "Declare Your Denim" (as long as supplies last).

September fall-fashion issues break in just a couple of months. It’s the biggest, most important issue of the year for fashion magazines, and therefore adds pressure to put a face on the cover that can really move issues off the stands. We’ve combed the papers, online fashion forums, and tapped our sources to compile lists of likely August and September cover girls. We’re showing you August because that helps you figure out who might not get another cover for September. Again, these are based on rumors, but likely, by our estimation. If rumors about Halle Berry landing Vogue‘s September cover prove true, she will be the first black woman to grace the magazine’s September issue since Naomi Campbell in 1989, according to Fashionista.

Today Victoria Beckham attended the party at Claridge’s to celebrate the decorating Diane Von Furstenberg did for the hotel. She paired her Anita Ko dress with over-the-knee boots, even though June is almost over and summer has officially begun. Clearly, it’s not only fall in the heads of fashion editors, but on the legs of Mrs. Beckham too!
