Caroline Trentini wore a similar wedding dress to Kate Middleton’s

In the latest US Vogue exclusive wedding (you could don’t forget they had the rights to Kate Moss’s nuptials) the glossy has given us a glimpse inside the wedding of Caroline Trentini. The Brazilian model married photographer Fabio Bartelt final month in Brazil. She wore an ivory and lace wedding dress which looked rather equivalent to that royal wedding gown worn by Kate Middleton last year. Produced from a dense gold satin coated in white pigment, the dress was overlaid with delicate lace which formed the sleeves and featured a deep-V neckline.
Though there is no mention of the Duchess within the Vogue write-up, what we do know is that Caroline’s dress was custom developed for her by Olivier Theyskens. A collaboration which came about after a operating joke was created by the Victoria’s Secret model back when she was just 15. Little did either know that one particular day it would come true.
“It was just ideal,” she says, “my dream dress with my dream designer.”
Would You Wear… a Drop-Waist Dress?

Drop Waist Dresses: 1. Marc Jacobs, two. On Clemence Poesy through ELLE, three. DVF
I have an innate fear of style types linked with the term “low”: Low-rise jeans, drop-crotch harem pants, and mullet hemlines, to name a couple of, all make me a tiny nervous. Which is precisely why the sudden popularity of drop-waist dresses caught me by surprise. Not only do I adore this look I have a couple of dresses in this style!
This 1920s throwback silhouette has a longer bodice section with a shorter skirt, which could range from a-line to pleated. By nature, the drop-waist dress is versatile. Paired with a blazer and heels, it tends to make a perfect job interview look, while adding a pair of casual booties and a low-slung bag makes it important for an afternoon of buying.

Haute Hippie & Jamaica’s GoldenEye Hotel Want to Dress You Like a Sexy Bond Girl

The place of his top secret HQ?
The recently re-opened GoldenEye Hotel, owned by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer & founder of Island Records, Chris Blackwell (whose mother, Blanche, was the author’s friend & muse and possibly his mistress). Blackwell recently teamed up with Haute Hippie on “All Things Gold”, a resort collection of chic looks inspired by the Hotel which is set along the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Its lush surroundings are redolent of glamorous old-Hollywood but with a beautiful Caribbean feel, reflected in the vintagey/modern day clothing styles.

Eliza Doolittle’s dress in tatters – but it’s supposed to be!

Eliza Doolittle partied at the pop up restaurant The Lion at the Brompton Club in South Kensington, London, searching fairly a lot like a messy university student. She showed up to the club pairing her cut-out, thigh slit dress with a light wash denim jacket and black fringe purse. Okay. But by the end of the night she’d slung the jacket by means of the strap of the cross-physique bag and just looked a mess. Some less flattering pictures had been featured in the Everyday Mail today.
This seems to be much less of a case of poor dressing as poor poise and presentation. The dress itself, with vertical slashes all around the rib cage and at the center of the chest, and many thigh-high slits, does not appear poor on Doolittle when she’s standing up straight and posing. But seated or in fairly significantly any other context it looks sloppy. The denim jacket is fully incongruous and I think she would have been greater off leaving it on the back of her chair at the club forever than to sling it by means of the strap of her bag. I know this wasn’t a red carpet event, she was just a girl taking a cab property. But when you are the concentrate of so a lot media attention, you’re never ever just a girl taking a cab home. If I hadn’t currently selected a Frock Horror this week, Eliza would have been it.
I feel Doolittle just wants a lesson in watching how a dress falls when she’s not posing in front of the mirror, possibly some easier accessories… or possibly just a stylist. She’s a quite fairly girl and looks greatest when she keeps her look a lot more pared down.
