The Olsens prepare to launch Superga shoe collection
Fans of the Olsen twins will be overjoyed to hear that they will soon be launching their new shoe collection with Superga at Harvey Nichols.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had been offered their new roles as creative directors for the brand final September to help celebrate the company’s 100th birthday. As portion of their appointment they also announced they would style a capsule shoe range under their personal fashion label The Row.
According to Harvey Nichols buyer, Ida Petersson, the sneaker range has been designed from cashmere and comprises of three different colours – black, navy and grey. Each shoe style features The Row logo and are priced at £250 a pop, not exactly for the budget-wise.

I know you’ve all seen the McQueen collection by now, but I just couldn’t let it go without saying how much I loved it! I wish I could’ve done it sooner, sadly, four kids down with the cold tends to cloud my fashion vision! But now that they’re feeling so much better, the sun is up, sparkling up in the fashion sky!
This actually doubles my appreciation of Alexander McQueen’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 in all its blooming beauty! Really unexpected for a fall collection, especially in a season which has favored dark, moody creations more than anything. However, Sarah Burton always stands tall in a sea of uniform fashion, following her own fashion direction. And what a beautiful one it is, this season! (more images after the jump!)

Pierre Balmain, the more gently priced secondary line from Balmain, launched its second ever collection in Paris this week. The appear is very Emmanuelle Alt (even though she once styled Balmain’s shows, she has nothing at all to do with the line): Skinny black pants (in leather or denim), an ultra-soft tee, and blazers with strong shoulders.
