Ivanka Trump’s Shoes Collection
Ivanka Trump has decided she can’t hold it any longer and she’ll be coming at us with a shoes collection. From 75 to 100 models with prices ranging from to 0, the shoes will also be accompanied by a handbags collection. Because we’re so worth it!
Now I just have this tiny, honest question from the bottom of my heart: will the Trump name be enough to sell these ordinary-looking, average styled shoes? Because (in the same honest key), if I have to choose, I’ll be definitely getting some Jessica Simpson shoes instead of these Trumps! How about you? (wwd via ccl)

Prada Launches their Jazzy New Collection of “Swing” Sunglasses
If you're a jazz musician & you wanna swing, it's all about the flow from one chord to another; if you're a fashionista, it's all about the lithe lines of this groovy new Prada eyewear. Vaguely 50s-meets-90s, these new Swing Sunglasses are a fun way to rock the mid-century trend without looking too retro.
The new Prada Autumn/Winter 2010 campaign similarly plays on the theme of past-meets-future, with model Angela Lindvall as a torch singer in a world of pastel hues, prints, the 50s silhouettes of the Fall collection, plus an added touch of 18th century Baroque – but all remixed for our post-modern century. Shot by Steven Meisel and featuring KaTeY J performing the song "Fever" – the feel is of that unexpectedly suspenseful moment in classic film when a close-up of a detail, gesture, or slight blurring reveals a character's true motivations.
The collection was launched at – where else – a jazz joint: Joe's Pub in NYC. And to further explore the idea of making stylish sound visual, Prada has launched a fun new Manga contest designed to cut across different creative worlds. Comic book design students and indie illustrators are invited to dream up a fabulous fantasy heroine who wears Prada Swing sunnies. The winning heroine(s) will play a starring role in a future Prada publication.
The content is open for submissions until August 31 at Prada.com.

BLANK NYC F/W 2010 Collection
Hi there, my name is Lisette, I am new to Denimology and will be covering all the New York based denim news, this week I paid a visit to the Blank NYC showroom (in where else but NYC) to check out their F/W 2010 Collection. Their most popular “skinnie classique” continues again next season this time accented with nailheads, zippers, and chains along the sides of the legs. Their price point definitely attracts attention in the premium denim marketplace – reasonably priced without sacrificing on quality, they retail from $68 to $98. And, hello guys! The good news is that they will be launching their men’s denim collection next Spring! No more borrowing your girlfriend’s BLANK’s!

Ashley And Mary Kate Olsen’s Olsenboye Collection Looks Like This
You wouldn’t believe what the Olsen twin sisters do for marketing! They smile! They forget the shades and they smile wide for the picture!
Their long awaited Olsenboye collection – a teen targeted line available at JC Penney is inspired by (what else) Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s own wardrobe. Which they say is inspired by street style. So beyond gender and trends, vintage-y and thrifty. I know it’s for a younger audience, but we’re all young at heart, after all, so what do you say, judging by this image? (via)
