Here Are the 10 Biggest Breakout Street Style Starlets from 2011
The street style bubble that started in 2010 has yet to burst, with the personal style industry only growing and gaining influence in 2011.
Street style bigwigs like Anna Dello Russo, Giovanna Battaglia, and Shala Monroque continued their dominion over the internet, but 2011 also introduced the world to a new crop of editors, stylists, and buyers who have envy-inducing style.
The best part is watching someone’s style grow dynamically in front of the lens. These aren’t the girls putting on full looks from the runway, they’re pulling items from their own wardrobes and mixing them with new trends. If there’s anyone to idolize for having great style, we think it’s this new bunch.

Denim Icon Of 2011 – Pippa’s Ass
![]()
It’s that time of the year exactly where we here at Denimology put our heads together and determine who we believe has been the Denim Icon Of The Year. This years Denim Icon was a quite challenging choice. We hummed and hawed for a few days. We quarreled (just a bit) more than it even becoming a pair of jeans. Alas, Andy reminded me, we only had one stand out this year and it definitely wasn’t the person in the jeans but just her Asset.
In previous years the denim icon selected has often virtually constantly been a celebrity – past winners have included Rihanna (2009), Katie Holmes (2008) and Kate Moss (2006) except for final year when the celebrity globe located it had some competition as 2010. Regular men and women (that are exceptionally beautiful, thin and stylish) produced their own style statements online and the world started taking notice. 2010 was the year of the style blogger.
Our Denim Icon Of 2011 as selected by the Denimology crew is not Pippa Middleton, but just Pippa’s ass.
