Critics Accuse Beyonce of “Whitewashing” in a Promotional Image for Her Latest Album

Beyonce‘s latest promotional image for album “Four” has caused very a stir–and however the buzz has got absolutely nothing to do with the music. Critics are accusing the songstress of “whitewashing” her image, the Every day News is reporting. This isn’t the first time Beyonce has come against accusations of this kind–she faced comparable criticism for her L’Oreal ad.
Indeed, Beyonce does appear to be paler than standard in the image above, and even though photoshop and lighting are likely culprits, the star’s choice to sport a blonde wig and bleached brows appears to send a deliberate message, some critics say. “I assume in a lot of approaches [Beyonce is] culpable since there’s history there,” Lincoln Anthony Blades, founder of race-conscious blog ThisIsYourConscience.com, told the News, referring to Beyonce’s past L’Oreal controversy. “She’s not saying explicitly you have to lighten your skin, but it does carry that inherent message.”

Philips ReAura Long Term Treatment Review: Is the home Fraxel any good?
![]()
In September we revealed to you the Philips ReAura, the first ever product that brings Fraxel like technologies to residence devices and got to have a little play with it. two months on and we can now bring you a definitive assessment, as we have had a tester religiously using the device- 2x a week for 8 weeks.

Our tester was unhappy with the texture of his skin (yes, it is our resident metrosexual) and did not like the fine lines on his forehead and mouth. He had previously been a smoker and believed that this contributed to the ageing he was finding and wanted to get a much more youthful, smoother look. This is his diary…
