Rachel McAdams is minted in Vivienne Westwood at The Vow premiere

Rachel McAdams stepped out final night for the LA premiere of new film The Vow, a Valentines-friendly romance which she stars in alongside Channing Tatum.
Tackling one particular of Spring’s hottest trends – pastel colours – she chose a super-fitted, va va voom strapless cocktail dress by Vivienne Westwood for the occasion, teamed with nude Christian Louboutin heels and chain detail jewellery.
The dress features Westwood’s trademark corseting in the front, but the genuine detail is down the back where gathers and a waterfall frill give it some added drama. Pale pastels like mint and Tiffany blue are not the easiest colours to pull off, but McAdams managed to pull it off and looks suitable feminine and romantic, which is fitting for the tear-jerker of a film she’s advertising.
Here’s the trailer for those who’ve but to see it…we are loving the wedding dress!

True Love Tiffany Style
A still from Tiffany’s new True Love commercial.
Before the previews started at the movies this weekend, we sat through a commercial of ridiculously pretty people at a wedding party. It was artfully shot, with great music and cute kids frolicking with flowers, but we couldn’t figure out what it was advertising. Our first thought was J.Crew. Their wedding business has become huge, and they did just make a sort of digital commercial for their ballet flats. But eventually the camera started panning more and more to the diamond on the bride’s left hand. Tiffany!
Sure enough, Tiffany & Co’s officially launched their new campaign, True Love, today. There’s a new website featuring a short film by Ed Burns as well as Tiffany’s Tips, a collection of romantic advice. In the Tiffany’s New York section you’ll find a list of New York’s most romantic spots (and secrets) and in Love Is Everywhere you can fill other readers in on your most romantic locations.
