Out of all the stylish men I’ve covered, Steven Tyler has me the most excited. His bohemian, rock star style is extremely fashion-forward, yet is so easy to translate to a twentysomething girl’s wardrobe. I know, I know — correct now, we’re all experiencing Kardashian overload. In reality, if I hear one particular much more person mention one thing about Kim, positive or negative, I just may punch myself in the face. In spite of these sentiments, I kontinue to dedicate my Sunday nights to katching the newest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and so on. Konsider it at hostile takeover of my konscience — I kind of hate myself for it, but I just kan’t get enough of the Kardashians!

I’ll be honest — my addiction to these shows is solely simply because I really like watching Khloe and surprisingly, Scott Disick. I’ve enjoyed seeing him start off out as the bratty and wild boyfriend of Kourtney, and evolve into the funny, quirky, and relatively sane character he is nowadays. In addition to his hilarious one-liners (did anyone else catch him quote Home Alone in the first episode of KKTNY?) Scott also has a fierce sense of style — which is one thing we can all appreciate, regardless of how we feel about the show itself.

Nick Wooster, or ‘The Woost’ to those who know him, is the sartorialist’s sartorialist. He is considered by many to be a street style demi-god and you can bet your favourite pair of ROTM monk strap shoes that he will be the most photographed man at any fashion show. And that includes the models. Previously, he was Men’s Fashion Director of Neiman Marcus Group Services (Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman) in New York but has since left to become an all round fashion consultant – splitting his time between Giltman.com, New York’s Park and Bond store and putting together style shows for various companies.

So what is the deal with this guy? Sure, he gets photographed a lot and has an extensive background within plenty of fashion departments but doesn’t that just mean he has the money and experience to dress great? Well, yes and no. As the above quote demonstrates, once you’ve spent enough time immersed in menswear you not only know the rules off by heart, but how and when they can be broken too.

Going beyond that, he has had enough time to hone his style to perfection; so that when you do see a photo of him you instantly think ‘that’s so Woost’. Something we all are aiming for, right? On top of that, he happens to be a pretty great guy. He has talents and interests outside of the fashion world and understands that, at the end of the day, they are only clothes, allowing him to have a supreme amount of confidence when it comes to what he wears. Introduction

After Jos’ comprehensive guide to the lounge suit last week, many readers pointed out that they loved to dress down their suit by utilising other key pieces such as knitwear, t-shirts and the like. With this in mind, Jos and I set out to conquer the whole concept and method of dressing down a suit. Just because suits are traditionally classed as formal wear, it doesn’t mean they have to be pigeon-holed into just that type of look. There are many ways to relax the suit, and that is what we are going to be exploring in detail over the next two days.

In this two part guide, we will be concentrating on the two major ways in which you can create a more relaxed aesthetic whilst wearing a suit. I shall be focussing on simply altering your complimenting pieces when utilising a full suit, and tomorrow Jos will be detailing how to wear your suit pieces as separates in order to create an entirely new look.
