Fashionista Week in Review: Kelly Cutrone Busts Her Thieving Ex-Assistant, Mark Zuckerberg Loses His Hoodie, and Penis Print Pants Exist
Dressing Up Zuckerberg: Zuckerberg may be disgustingly rich now, but even ringing the NASDAQ bell to celebrate taking Facebook public wasn’t sufficient to get the Zuckster out of that damn hoodie. We got some of our beloved stylish dudes to play dress up with the Face of Facebook.
Delivery.com-Addicted Assistant Steals from Kelly Cutrone: We would never steal a seat from PR powerhouse Kelly Cutrone, let alone cash, but that is just what a single crazypants assistant did. We talked to Cutrone, and she shared much more unbelievable particulars about the situation. Great luck finding a fashion job now, kiddo.
Menstruation Can Be Fashionable: OK, possibly not. But Vice tried to convince every person that Auntie Flow is haute with their period-themed photo shoot. We suddenly have cramps.
First Look: Watch a Young Carrie Bradshaw Talk About Sex in The Carrie Diaries Trailer

We learned this week that the CW officially picked up the Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries, and right after finding lots of sneak peeks at Carrie’s 1980s wardrobe (by Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman), we finally have a trailer by which to judge the show.
If you are a Sex and the City fan, you will recognize some of the very same gimmicks from the original: Carrie’s disembodied musings about life, cheesy sex jokes, and ridiculously poufy skirts. The 1980s styling is weak at best–if that was genuinely 1984, Carrie would have bangs teased at least 3 inches straight up and her boss would have shoulder pads up to her earlobes. But we are prepared to suspend disbelief for a bit, as you had to do in the original, as well. (A writer with that wardrobe? No.)

Halston set to make another catwalk return
Halston is plotting yet another return to the runway after the majority of its creative team and investors left the label last year.
Now the New York brand is setting its sights on New York Fashion Week next February, according to the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, Ben Malka. Of course it also helps that Malka, who is the former president of BCBG, has injected $ 20 million into the struggling label to keep it going. His plans for a return to the catwalk in 2013 have clearly been helped by this boost in funds.
“We are very well-funded, so I don’t have to worry about that. The money was put in by myself and my partners in a big way,” he told WWD. “The amount is enough for us to screw up for a long time.”

Jen Style – Henry & Belle Ideal Skinny Ankle Jeans
Hey lovelies!! I hope all of you had an wonderful holiday (whichever holiday you celebrate)! My Christmas was joyous! Loved being surrounded by my family that I was missing so much! I’m still enjoying my holiday break in the panhandle of Florida, and I do not want it to end. The weather is starting to get actual chilly and I’m loving it… but sadly I know it will warm up once again. Just typical bi-polar weather in Florida. I suppose it could be the opposite and totally freezing with snow on the ground each day, and that would surely get old… so I’ll quit my complaining. )
I received these Ideal Super Skinny Ankle Jeans in “Superior” from the brand Henry & Belle prior to the holiday break, and I was eager to attempt them on. Firstly, I’ve never tried the brand ahead of and secondly, the wash and cut was distinct than other jeans I’ve reviewed on Denimology. I was immediately attracted to the brand when I read that it had stemmed from a really like story among Henry Mann and his wife Belle. I adore a great love story! Henry began designing in the garment district of Chicago in the early 1930′s, and he utilised his wife Belle as his muse. How cute is that? Henry and Belle had been dedicated to making high top quality denim while also giving back to their community. Today the Mann family holds true to this tradition and continues to concentrate on “craftsmanship and humanitarianism.” By wearing Henry & Belle jeans, you can aid the Mann household continue their tradition as they raise awareness and funds for diverse issues in your nearby community.
These Ideal Super Skinny Ankle Jeans in “Superior” slipped on with ease, and their stretch was 1 of the best I’ve skilled in denim. That ought to be why they are deemed the “Perfect Super Stretch Ankle.” I wore these jeans the entire day and they didn’t stretch out a bit! The fit was excellent. I adore the way they hugged my curves and I felt they produced my bum look wonderful too! They hit correct at the ankle, which is what I crave for in a great skinny jean. Even so, I believe they would have looked much better in a darker wash with this length. With the medium blue wash, I felt they would have looked much better cuffed at the ankle — but I wanted to show all of you the length so I refrained from cuffing them in the photographs.
