Victoria Beckham unveils custom car design for Range Rover
In addition to her own style empire, Victoria Beckham has been busy designing her own car for Range Rover – yup, truly. The fashionable mogul has spent the past 18 months operating on her personal custom style for the vehicle manufacturer named the Range Rover Evoque. Last night, she unveiled her debut style in Beijing for the luxury industry.
Speaking of how she came up the style, she stated: “When I initial began working with the team I did a lot of study, and produced mood boards to show the team my love of timeless and classic design. I looked at yachts, luxury jets and classic automobiles.”
With a rose gold-plated interior, hand sewn leather seats and a bespoke 4 piece luggage set, car enthusiasts are searching at about £80,000 for one particular of Beckham’s new Range Rovers.
Range Rover gets stylish at Harvey Nicks
I polished off a week of Fashion Week events last night with a trip to Harvey Nichols for a special Autumn / Winter fashion show organised by Range Rover. A car company might not strike you as the ideal partner for a fashion event, but they’re celebrating the launch of their new Evoque model, which is all about being stylish and premium – much like the clothes on the rails at Harvey Nicks.
Truth be told, I don’t think many of the attendees were there for the wheels. But most seemed happy to indulge in the free-flowing champers and tiny fashion canapes courtesy of Range Rover, whilst enjoying the presence of half a dozen gorgeous male models and some gorgeous designer clothes. It was quite refreshing after sitting in the super-silent LFW shows, trying to act cool, to find myself in an atmosphere where even those on the front row were audibly giggling (or whooping, at one point) at the hot boys.

Victoria Beckham Designed The Interior For Range Rover Evoque
Besides being extremely busy with her fashion label, Victoria Beckham has time for intensive designer deeds. She was asked to design the interior for the new upcoming Range Rover Evoque. And so she did.
The car is supposedly the greenest Range Rover up to date, the new fashioned car joins her older sister, the Range Rover Vogue (which was named so because Vogue used a Range Rover for one of their photoshootings in 1981). We’re of course curious to know how the interior really looks like, however, the new Evoque will be available next year for $45,000. Posh doesn’t come cheap, daaahling! (via)
