Steal Her Style: Taylor Swift’s Primary Colours

Taylor Swift is rarely seen out of a sparkly frock or gown, considering how many awards shows she’s attended and dominated this year, but in her downtime Swift turns down the volume for a more subtle, refined look.
Taking colour blocking to a new level, Swift goes back to basics by pairing a navy cable-knit Ralph Lauren sweater with a golden yellow pleated chiffon skirt, demure red heels and a lady-like Fendi ‘New Silvana’ bag.

Vanessa Bruno celebrates 1 year in L.A with stylish celeb fans
Paris-based designer Vanessa Bruno hosted a group of chic style setters and celebrities on Wednesday night to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her L.A boutique (her only U.S store). Held in an airy canopied space at Lucques (which is right next door to Bruno’s locale on Melrose Avenue near La Cienega) the platinum-haired designer was thrilled to be on the West Coast checking in on the store as well as catching up with her muse and face of the fall/winter 2011 collection, Kate Bosworth.
Bosworth, who was dressed in a ’60s-style white and silver shift dress (she also had her hair back-combed a bit on top, to complete the go go girl-esque look), said she has been a big fan of Bruno’s collection since discovering the line while in Paris 6 years ago.
“I’ve always loved the line. It’s classic and effortless with great pieces that you can pass onto your kids because they’re timeless.”

Ever because Marilyn caught a breeze over those New York grates, the small white dress has developed a certain allure when it comes to creating an effort. Sitting somewhere inbetween pristine innocence and a understanding sense of style, every single season- and truly nowadays, specifically in winter- white is dabbled with in the public eye and on our ever-influential catwalks.

Last I heard, Anja Rubik got married with her beau, Sasha Knezevic in a lovely ceremony in Mallorca, all fancied up in Pucci. However, back to her modeling duties – bear in mind she’s representing for Fendi this upcoming season? (wearing a disgracefully obvious wig)
And that Karl Lagerfeld authored the Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign? By now, only seeing Anja’s picture, you’d logically ask yourselves where’s Baptiste. Eh oui, Mesdames et Messieurs, Baptiste Giabiconi joined the Fendi advertising sheet. He’s playing in Karl’s current art obsession by posing with Anja and 3 lovely youngsters for a family painting. (you think I’m just speculating? Oh, no-no no honeys! Believe Magnum and Rachel Bilson and you will see that the painting factor is a recurrent theme in der Kaiser’s aesthetic!) (via)

Rachel Bilson pops up for the second time this week, this time look rather leggy in a pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied denim shorts. Now I make no apologies for the soft spot I have for Rachel Bilson, however it has come to my attention that not everyone shares my opinions on how cool she is. DKNY Jeans Juniors Fall Winter 2010 Collection
DKNY Jeans Juniors collection is not for the children, as you may have suspected just reading the title. (I thought it was for kids, I admit!) Oh, no! Juniors by DKNY standards is somewhere between 15 and 30, undecidedly grunge and definitely chic.
I’m having a hard time coping with the draped skinny pants (I think they’d look bad on almost anyone above size zero) but other than that, I’m loving everything else. The army-inspired layered looks, the frilly micro mini skirts (click through to see them)… I wonder if I qualify for Juniors with my “young at heart” spirit… maybe they’d ask an identity card upon making your order/payment… Do you have a DKNY Jeans Juniors favorite?
