Fashion Inspiration: Marc Jacobs Daisy Fragrance

Photo Courtesy of Daisy by Marc Jacobs
For me, spring is a time where I’m ultra-inspired to freshen up my wardrobe and try something new. With flowers in full bloom, my focus shifted towards Marc Jacobs’ Daisy fragrance collection for a little springtime fun!
While you may not wear the fragrance, the Daisy collection features an ad campaign that’s perfect for warmer weather. The ads feature girls frolicking in meadows filled with — you guessed it — daisies. Fresh, flirty, and super fun, these ads offer a perfect source of spring and summer fashion inspiration for your own everyday looks! Below, I’ve created two outfits inspired by both the fragrance and advertisements for Daisy. Scroll down to see them!
Interviews with Fashion Insiders: Editorial Assistant Christina Garofalo

For the second interview in the Interviews with Fashion Insiders series, I knew that Christina Garofalo, who is an Editorial Assistant at Robb Report Magazine, would be the ideal pick.
From styling photo shoots to editing articles, Christina’s job brings a thing new – and fascinating – each and every day. And like our very first interview topic Chrissy Sheahan, Christina also did not study fashion in college – additional proof that style school is not a necessity in this organization! So with out further ado, here are some tips and stories from a correct fashion insider.

Rachel Weisz Bvlgari Jasmin Noir Perfume Ad Campaign. Bvlgari Changes The Girl, Keeps The Lion
When Rachel Weisz was announced as the spokesface of Bvlgari’s fragrance “Jasmin Noir”, I was truly curious to see what the campaign will look like. Rachel is no ordinary beauty and highlighting her, if done proper, can lead to a magnificent result.
These days, it would seem, fragments of her Mert & Marcus photographed campaign have surfaced. If it is a advertising trick operated by Bvlgari, I hope they take note and act consequently: the advertisements are static, hardly original and evoke a persistent feeling of déjà-vu. If you’re questioning why is that, just consider “recession” : in hard instances, recycle and reuse are the principal priorities. Bvlgari’s lion from Kristen Dunst’s Mon Jasmin Noir ad gets to star alongside Rachel Weisz as well! Oh, what a lucky lion! (via)
