5 Steps to a Stress-Free Move Out

Nicely, it’s that time of year once more. It appears like only final week that I was struggling to move my inexcusably huge moving boxes up a narrow flight of stairs to my dorm, and now I’m gazing hopelessly into the cavernous 9′ x 12′ space of my area, asking yourself why I ever thought I’d require so significantly stuff.
As I’m certain is the situation for most CF readers, finals week is also the week that I’m expected to have all of my belongings packed away and prepared for checkout. Attempting to juggle day-to-day exams, final papers, and tackling the monster that is my closet is daunting, to say the least.

Movie Inspiration: Fashion Inspired by Desperately Seeking Susan

Film is my all-time favored source of fashion inspiration. From blockbuster hits to tiny indie flicks, you can bet that a team of individuals spent hours making the best sartorial look that aids tell their story in a cohesive way. Oftentimes, the actor or actress has some input in the style of the character they play — and that was absolutely the case in the movie Desperately Searching for Susan.
Madonna was cast in this film largely because of the appear and feel they wanted to bring to the film. Her style defined the appear of a decade, and Desperately Searching for Susan serves as the best lookbook for the era.
Bonobos launches a collection of L.A.-made denim
Bonobos, the men’s pants brand known for its colorful khakis and e-tail-only business model, is expanding into denim, rolling out made-in-Los Angeles jeans that will retail for $ 125 each.
“When we moved from San Francisco to New York City four years ago and launched our business with 400 pairs of pants, it was to make people who looked bad in khakis look good in khakis,” Bonobos co-founder and Chief Executive Andy Dunn told the attendees at the Nov. 15 launch party at the Hollywood Roosevelt’s Spare Room. “And now we’re taking that fit into denim.” (By comparison, Dunn said the company shipped close to 12,000 pairs in October alone.)
While bright colors, patterned pocket bags and quirky names are all things the core Bonobos customer has come to expect in chinos and corduroy trousers, Dunn said the denim is done a bit differently.

Men’s Fashion: The Art of Minimalism
Introduction
Before anyone thinks that I am going to promote minimalism as a principle rather than a mere statement of fashion, they are mistaken. I certainly do not think that you should only have a couple of pairs of trousers and shirts in your wardrobe: washing clothes is not that difficult and turning underwear inside out is inexcusable – even at your girlfriends.
However, I am trying to make you aware of this current trend and thus suggest a different way from standing out from the crowd. Then again, to call minimalism a trend I believe is not giving its essence enough thought. One can easily incorporate classic pieces into a minimalistic look; for at the heart of the eternally elegant appearance is understated style that surpasses any seasonal fad. In this way, minimalism is as much a timeless approach as it is a trend.
In the face of new designers eager to stamp their mark on the fashion world with novel design cuts in all shapes and lengths, there is certainly something enticing (and arguably more current), about a man who appears simply but thoughtfully put together. Minimalism transcends those brash colour combinations seen on the catwalk, or those ill-advised graphic tees that plague the high street. It is far easier for you to stand out as someone who looks as cool as they do comfortable – after all, you won’t be wearing anything outlandish.
