Although Rihanna took over the Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans ad campaigns responsibility, Megan Fox still holds on to Armani Beauty. As such, it would appear that the new 2012 ad campaign images have surfaced. Or at least some of them.
Also, Megan keeps busy with a lucrative deal for a Korean brand, Ontd reporting on the new Metrocity Ad Campaign (you can check out some of the visuals in the gallery, here). I was wondering – what happened to Megan Fox’s Hollywood star? Did Michael Bay take care of things, after she and him rumoredly conflicted around her work in the Transformers franchise?

I must admit, I almost didn’t recognise Megan Fox in her latest round of ads for Armani. The actress is sporting some old Hollywood glamour for the new Armani Beauty campaign, which advertises the brand’s new Eyes to Kill Stretch Mascara. Not only is she the face of this product, she has also served as the ambassador for Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear along with Rafael Nadal. This role has recently been handed over to Rihanna.

Just when we thought our Rihanna Lust had reached its peak, along comes this saucy mini movie from Armani. As we already know, Rihanna has snagged posing duties from Megan Fox and is the global ambassador of the Italian brand’s Jeans and Underwear ranges so it comes as no surprise to see her sultrily writhing around in her kecks. Basically, PHWOAR doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Shot in New York by Johan Renck, the black and white film is an ode to film noir with the sexpot songstress waiting in a blacked-out car for the delivery of a mysssterious bag. But what’s inside? A stash of cash? A pile of glittering diamonds from Mr Armani? Nope. It’s a pair of leather look jeans and a sexy leather biker jacket. Rihanna promptly whips off her LBD in the back seat to reveal those killer curves and that famous derriere wrapped in a lacy bra and pants (what WILL Mr Farmer say?!). Then Ri-Ri pulls on the aforementioned jeans and jacket while singing, “I got a secret I wanna show you” before strutting across an oh-so-glam car park. Ooh err. And having seen that boyish blonde mop in full motion glory, we can confirm she works it with serious a-plomb (natch).

Is there anything more “L.A” than celebrities and denim? Yup, try denim designed by celebrities.
The concept of clothing companies enlisting a celeb to create a couple of styles (and attract attention to the brand) is nothing new, but it seems like there’s a slew of celeb-denim collabs coming out for fall and the star names slapped to each pair are not whom you might expect.
“Entertainment Tonight” host Samantha Harris has designed a pair of jeans for denim brand DL1961 fittingly called the “Samantha” jean. Harris discovered the label when wearing their maternity pants while pregnant with her second child and set out to create the “perfect” jean to fit her busy lifestyle as a mom of two. The result is a slim boot-cut pant using DL1961’s four-way stretch fabric. They apparently retain their shape even after a long day of wear. So basically, no saggy bottom even if you’re working, running errands or after toddlers all day. The “Samantha” jean is $ 168 and available at www.DL1961.com.

Remember we talked about Rihanna and her strange look for Armani Jeans, the fall winter 2011 2012 ad campaign? It would appear that she’s keeping the look for the Emporio Armani Underwear FW 2011 2012 Ad campaign. And the car!
It’s not bad for fall. It’s way more explicit than Megan Fox and seeing the Steven Klein photographed images helped me realized that not only do I prefer subtlety more than anything in a campaign involving lingerie, but also that the pop scene has reached unprecedented exposure levels and burlesque implications. To say the least. All in all, it’s Rihanna’s bad girl stage image and she’s sticking to it. Wig and all. I wonder how long til Lady Gaga comes advocating for Armani underwear. After all, who’s a better spokesperson for a lingerie campaign than Lady Gaga, the very Essence of Pantlessness?

Rihanna is Armani’s Newest Girl

The flame-haired Barbadian star has sealed the deal to model for Emporio Armani‘s A/W 2011 launch. She will be concerned with two categories: underwear – most likely because she’s taken to wearing absolutely nothing but when performing, and jeans – most likely in the hope that she will feel inspired to wear more of those in future performances. This is guesswork of course, but our reasoning is sound you should admit!
Rihanna will be picking up from Megan Fox, who formerly fronted those identical campaigns in the past, whilst Fox herself will now be gracing Armani’s beauty ads with her painfully-gorgeous countenance Regrettably, it is not until September that we can see Rihanna and her Armani undies. It’s a sad factor indeed, but we will wait with baited breath. Or we could just switch on any music video channel.
Rihanna Is The New Armani Underwear Model
Nowadays it has been announced that Rihanna is the new spokesperson for the Giorgio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans ad campaigns. Taking over for the Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign from Megan Fox who was previously the face… ahem body of the campaign means that we’ll only have Megan for the Armani Beauty campaigns?
Either way, I’m truly pleased they chose Rihanna. Her body is incredible and she seems to be working wonderfully with Steven Klein who was announced as the campaign’s photographer. Rihanna Replaces Megan Fox as the Face of Emporio Armani Underwear

Rihanna certainly isn’t afraid to strip down to her skivvies. The artist, who typically performs in small a lot more than a bra and panties, has been named the new face of Emorio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. She replaces Megan Fox and follows in the footsteps of fellow fashionphile Victoria Beckham, who starred in ads alongside her handsome hubby David.
The Fall/Winter 2011 campaign, which was shot on location in New York, will launch worldwide in September.
