First Look: Jessica Simpson’s Maternity Line
Back in December, a pregnant Jessica Simpson told us she had a maternity line in the works–and now that her little bundle of joy Maxwell Drew has arrived, so has a 1st appear at the new collection.
Jessica Simpson’s maternity line will be available in 700 retail places, such as Motherhood Maternity, Destination Maternity, as nicely as Destination Maternity shop-in-shops within Macy’s, come fall 2012. The collection is the result of a deal among Jessica Simpson Collection’s master licensee Camuto Group and Destination Maternity, who will design, generate and distribute the line below the Simpson label, WWD is reporting.
“I’m [pleased] to partner with Destination Maternity to style a collection of fashionable designs that make you appear and feel fantastic,” Simpson told the trade. “You want to put on clothes that are flattering to your child bump you want to show your bump off.”
For Simpson that implies lots of skinny pants–including a pair of leopard print leggings–and roomy, fairly blouses. There will also be flowing maxis, form-fitting jersey knit dresses, jackets, blazers and chunky relaxed sweaters. The collection was apparently “designed with a vintage Seventies really feel,” although it looks pretty modern to us. The pieces seem comfy, wearable and feminine–exactly the kind of issue J. Simps wore although she was prego. Though we’d be pretty shocked to find a pregnant lady that really wanted to walk around in skin tight leopard pants. But hey, to each and every their own!

Jessica Simpson has had a lot of excellent news the final couple of weeks—she gave birth to her initial kid on Could 1, had her show Fashion Star renewed final Friday, and now she’s further expanding her virtually $ 1 billion style empire.
Simpson, who already sells every thing from shoes to jeans to sunglasses below her Jessica Simpson Apparel collection, has partnered with Destination Maternity for a line hitting retailers this Fall, WWD reports. “I’m [pleased] to partner with Destination Maternity to style a collection of fashionable styles that make you appear and feel great,” Simpson stated. “You want to put on clothes that are flattering to your baby bump you want to show your bump off.” The collection has a vintage ’70s feel and contains denim in a number of washes, leggings, print tops, maxi dresses, blazers, and chunky sweaters, retailing in the range of $ 36 to $ 69.
Here’s Adriana Lima’s Baby Bump!
Considering that the announcement of her second pregnancy, we haven’t had the chance to admire Adriana Lima’s stunning proud infant physique. Now there she is, attending an official event in New York. Alongside an additional 1 of Victoria’s Secret Angels, Karolina Kurkova, Adriana showed her pretty head (and physique) at the opening of the IWC NY boutique. Blooming, huh? I wonder when will there be a Victoria’s Secret maternity line… BeautyisDiverse

Find the perfect pair of jeans for your shape at Donna Ida’s denim clinic

Gemma Cartwright writes…
I have a really like / hate relationship with jeans. It is no massive secret that I’m a dress girl, but there are days when only denim will do. It surprises people to discover that I own about a dozen pairs of jeans, but the truth is, I only have so numerous since I’ve in no way identified the perfect style for me.
And I know I’m not the only 1 – when I asked on Twitter recently what men and women identified the hardest item of clothing to buy, almost everyone came back saying jeans! They are notoriously tricky, with so several washes, cuts and textures on offer, but they’re also an absolute wardrobe staple so it really is worth hunting down the perfect pair.
So I turned to Donna Ida Thornton for suggestions.
Beyoncé Wore Animal-Print Leggings Last Night
Beyoncé went shopping in New York last night wearing a black and gold leather jacket over a loose black button-down shirt, animal-print leggings, and a pair of gold chain-embellished high-heel ankle boots. She carried a black crocodile-skin handbag, and accessorized with a pair of gold hoop earrings.
Judging by the bump, it is not too lengthy until Babyoncé’s arrival — is she pulling off what is likely third-trimester maternity style well?

Elle Macpherson On Her Lingerie Line, BINTM & Dream Louis Vuitton Campaign…

Tim Minchin sings Happy Birthday to Elle
When it comes to birthday parties, you can’t ask for more than a gazillion balloons, games of pass the parcel and Tim Minchin playing the piano in the middle of Selfridges. That’s exactly what Elle Macpherson panned to celebrate 10 years of her lingerie line being sold at the London department store. Of course, Grazia Daily was there to congratulate ‘The Body’, who looked super-hot in a black Rachel Roy suit, and to grill her on how it feels to be an entrepreneur not only over the past decade but since she launched Elle Macpherson Intimates in 1990. Yep, we can barely believe it either.
GD: Congratulations on your 10-year anniversary! How does it feel?
EMP: It was so great to see all the balloons, images from past campaigns and Tim singing. I’ve had such a wonderful relationship with Selfridges and it is a celebration to be ten years in business in this country. It’s not easy.
