At Thursday night’s occasion celebrating Jitrois’ new pop-up store in SoHo (which is super chic and inviting, btw) I had the pleasure of talking to the hosts of the night: Brothers Peter and Harry Brant, who you could know as “the world’s luckiest teenage homosexuals” (according to Gawker, anyway). Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh shows off bondage bikini

The query I am asking right here is that with a physique like Millie Mackintosh’s why wouldn’t you show it off… on Twitter… in front of thousands of followers? The second question I am asking is do you like her bondage style bikini?
That’s proper, I like to tackle life’s hard concerns. Err…
The Produced in Chelsea starlet has taken to her Twitter account to post a photo of herself modelling some rather flamboyant swimwear. Snapped in what seems to be a bathroom, the shot shows the Quality Street heiress bare-faced and donning a black wrapped bikini. She added: “Can’t wait to put on my new Huit bikini in Ibiza subsequent week! #summer.”
Mark Revamps Its Hair Line—and Introduces a Styling Compact

Avon has a fairly impressive hair care line, Advanced Techniques—and now its infant sister, mark, is stepping up to the plate. Next month, the brand will launch a 5-piece hair care collection composed of styling products for straight and curly textures. They will replace the company’s existing hair care items, says Gail Boye, VP of mark item development: “We upgraded the packaging and formulas, infusing them with exotic oils and super nutrients.”
Each and every of the hairsprays, gels, creams, and salves contain distinct oil and nutrient pairings—think jojoba oil and goji berry, baobab oil and sea buckthorn, and so forth.—and Boye is proud of this element. “I wanted to have ingredients that are recognizable, readable, and pronounceable,” she says. “There’s a massive slug of all-natural, helpful ingredients.”
The hero item is the Double Do Shape and Gloss Kit, a compact that contains each a smoothing butter and texturizing wax. And, if the packaging looks familiar, there’s a purpose: it is mark’s Flip For It makeup compact, only with hair-centric contents. “It produced far more sense to put the butter and wax in a compact instead of two separate jars,” says Boye, who got the thought for the flip-square after catching an episode of Sesame Street. “It was the day of the square and, immediately after seeing this square moving across the Television screen, I believed it would be cool to incorporate the shape in a compact,” she recalls.
Fashion Inspiration: American Idol Season 11 (Part 1)

Confession: I’m a single of those girls who definitely adores American Idol. I plan my week about watching the show. I adhere to all the contestants on Twitter, and vote religiously each and every Wednesday night. I scour Youtube for obscure videos of my preferred contestants. I even get irrationally angry with my roommate when she deletes an episode off of my DVR without my prior consent! Yeah, I’m a small obsessed.
This year, producers decided to employ fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger as a consultant to support create the personal style of each and every of the contestants. Style, singing, AND classic reality Television drama? Sign me up! In addition to hearing Jimmy Iovine’s smart incites and the ridiculous banter between judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson, it is been really entertaining to see how each and every contestant’s look has evolved all through the season.

Get the look: Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer
Catwalk Queens, I have one thing to confess to you all – I have far more than a small bit of a style crush on Zooey Deschanel. My love affair with Zooey’s covetable wardrobe has slowly been gathering speed ever because she appeared in Elf back in 2003, selecting up when she dyed her hair brown for Failure To Launch, and snowballing after her major roles in 500 Days of Summer and smash hit Television series, New Girl.
Zooey’s girl-subsequent-door style is as infectious as her quirky personality it really is feminine and unapologetic with a pretty, preppy edge. Her really like for cute accessories and retro clothes is not only noticeable is her everyday wardrobe and red carpet looks, but also in her function. Immediately after discovering out that New Girl costume designer Debra McGuire and Zooey had been “on the exact same wavelength” when it came to dressing like a “mix of Crayola crayons”, my obsession was nicely and truly sealed – as a poster girl for chic geeks everywhere, she balances style with enjoyable, providing designers, stylists and style writers everywhere with a breath of fresh air.
As effectively obsessing over the cute and colourful teacher, Jessica Day in New Girl, Zooey also provides me a serious situation of wardrobe envy in the anti-romantic comedy, 500 Days of Summer, in which she stars alongside extended-term friend (and long term hottie) Joseph Gordon Levitt. Her beautiful and enchanting outfits had been styled by costume designer, Hope Hanafin, who concentrated on the colour blue in a variety of shades, mixing special retro items with basic, classic cut pieces. Unfortunately many of the most wanted pieces in the film are vintage, like the beautiful dress she wears on the rooftop (if you haven’t seen the movie, do not be concerned, there are no spoilers in this post) but never worry – I’ve identified something I feel rivals it.
