Most Fashionable Furry Boots
Pink tends to make a lady. Not. I’ve noticed so a lot of furry boots last winter season, I honestly believed the fairly ladies wearing them sacrifice the fur of their beloved pet close friends in the name of fashion’s latest trends! I can totally comprehend a little bit of fur here, a strand of fluffy fur there, but walking in these furious clouds of fur was far from fashionable, stylish, trendy, you name it, it was far from it!
The image beneath reminded me so much of the frightening walking – in – fur trend I hope I will not see taking the fashionista’s feet by storm subsequent cold season too. How do you feel about this boot trend? Weigh in in the comments section, after the Streetpeeper’s image beneath!

The very best of Vivienne Westwood
From pioneering punk to designing Carrie Bradshaw‘s wedding dress, more than the final 40-odd years Dame Vivienne Westwood has been at the cutting edge of British style. The designer is one particular of the UK’s most popular faces, not just for her involvement in style but for her political activism and outspoken nature.
It was on meeting Malcolm McLaren that this former schoolteacher got involved in the globe of art and style. When McLaren opened a shop on the King’s Road, Westwood helped him to create the clothing that was sold 1st to Teddy Boys and later to those involved in the emerging punk movement. McLaren was, by this time, manager of The Sex Pistols, who wore clothing designed by Westwood and McLaren and helped raise their profile.

The mod bob
When John F Kennedy was quoted saying, “Those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future,” the world should have given him credit for the not-so-closeted fashioniser in him.
In reality Kennedy was, without a doubt, talking about something much more serious in terms of politics, leadership, economy and technology, but as Fashionising.com readers you’ll know how we like to interpret words, images and clothes.
But despite the fact that fashion is always progressing towards the future, the coming year is all about anything but that. So much so, that it’s the perfect year for those of us who are nostalgic and cannot stop dreaming of the past, and an equally perfect year for those wont to follow fashion designers whose creative minds draw inspiration from the years gone by.
While there are certainly other decades of influence, one of the biggest 2012 fashion trends that’s defining the year is the 1960s fashion revival. First runway shows aplenty had a sixties-makeover and then the London look presented us with a modern Swinging Sixties muse. With many a fashion accessory also taking inspiration from the sixties, it was almost certain that women’s hairstyles would quickly get inline with the evolving trend.
Men’s 2012 hairstyles: hair trends, cuts & colors
Men’s hairstyles aren’t like women’s. Women’s hair trends are short lived, often lasting no more than a year. On the other hand, men’s hairstyle trends evolve slowly – and that’s the key to men’s hair trends in 2012. Each and every one of them has its roots in the hairstyles that were popular in 2010 and 2011, but each and every one of them also has evolved for 2012. Some have subtly evolved, others have split into several different hairstyles.
What’s the same, however, is that Fashionising.com is going to take you through each and every one of them. Below you’ll find a list of all of 2012′s key men’s hairstyles and haircuts. You can find a list of the key hair trends directly below, each with its own tutorial and styling insights. Below that you’ll find a full list of other hairstyles and haircuts for men in 2012.
As always, we’ll continue to update this guide with the latest looks and new tutorials through 2012. If you’d like to receive all the men’s hair trend updates, along with all our other trend guides, subscribe to Fashionising.com’s free fashion newsletter or our RSS feed.

Sylvio Giardina’s sculptural forms
Sylvio Giardina is a very creative person with so-called “double identity” – being an experienced designer of haute couture and a visual artist. This successful synergy of fashion and art is clearly visible through the concept of his eponymous brand.
As he proved before with his fall 2011 collection, the designs have the innovative feel of visual art implemented on each ensemble. The style of Sylvio Giardina resembles quite experimental, sculptural forms with a chic and elegant signature. These reinventions on the structure of fashion design associated with unconventional use of fabrics originate a new definition of style with captivating ideas and a fresh touch.
