Kelly Brooks Cannes Festival wardrobe
Kelly Brook gave her fans a sneak peek into her designer wardrobe yesterday as she decided on outfits to take to the 65th Cannes Film Festival. The 32-year-old underwear model/actress (who at the moment stars in comedy horror, Pirahanna 3D) tweeted a number of pictures during a fitting with her stylist, and following attempting on nine diverse looks, announced “As well many alternatives…taking it all.” As nicely as revealing what she would be taking with her to the infamous festival, Kelly also shared a photo of her packing on instagram, featuring some enviable Louis Vuitton luggage, a gorgeous red trunk bursting with items, and a pair of red Roger Vivier heels. So, let’s take a look shall we?
Initial up, a couple of floral pieces, which make for appropriate daytime looks, and a basic black and sheer dress with pearls. Whilst I’m not a big fan of the jumpsuit, I adore the two dresses – the on-trend 50′s style tropical print dress is known as ‘Victorine’ comes from Dannii Minogue’s Project D collection, and it looks definitely beautiful on Kelly. I want these gorgeous pink patent shoes as well! The underwear model (and her stylist) certainly knows how to dress Kelly’s curves, and the black pleated dress with sheer panelling sits perfectly on her. The only items I’m not overly fond of are the clutch bags – none of them stand out for me.
Subsequent on Kelly’s list, dresses which I’m presuming we’ll see either on the red carpet or at a dinner or two. All of these gowns suit Kelly’s figure and skin tone, but I am nonetheless not feeling the accessories. I’ll be interested to see what shoes the model pairs with the shimmering green bandeau dress – she naturally found it tough to make a decision! My favourite heels are the gold strappy pair that Kelly tried with the mustard coloured dress, and in my opinion, they’d look fantastic worn with all three of these outfits. What do you believe?
Kelly Brook doesn’t believe in plastic surgery
I don’t see how you could have missed Kelly Brook these last couple of days – she’s launched an underwear line for New Look and so photos of her in knickers have been all over the web. Fun for boys, depressing for me.
To assist promote it, she gave an interview to The Telegraph in which she condemned plastic surgery – particularly celebrities who get it and then speak publicly about it.
“I can’t bear the truth that girls these days assume you have to be thin to be gorgeous and productive,” she told them.
Kelly Brook In Moschino – Cointreau Prive Pop-Up Bar
November 30th, 2011

Kelly Brook joined Dita von Teese on the red carpet for the Cointreau Prive pop-up bar at The Pigalle Club in London last night.
The model, who would usually don a gown not too dissimilar to Dita’s, opted for a Moschino ruffled dress from the Fall 2011 collection.
Chloe Sevigny’s Catwalk Cameo for Kenzo!

Over in Paris earlier this week, FROWers were treated to quite the surprise. No, we’re not harping on about Kanye West’s collection (again) or even those broken benches at Balenciaga – we’re talking about one catwalk cameo at Kenzo which had editors clutching their Blackberries in amazement.
As a brunette catwalker in a cobalt blue jumpsuit closed the show, whispers circulated that she was an uncanny Chloe-Sevigny-a-like. BUT WAIT! That IS Chloe Sevigny! But where are her signature blonde locks? And what the blazes is she doing OFF of the front row and ON the catwalk?! Earlier this year, the frequent FROW claimed, ‘I hate going to fashion shows. I find them boring’, so is this her way of spicing things up?

Mulberry Spring 2012

Mulberry’s Spring 2012 presentation took place yesterday with two showings in the morning.
As we waited to enter the venue we were treated to ice cream and bottles of pink lemonade which came courtesy of a Mulberry branded vintage ice cream van.
Upon entering the Claridges ballroom it felt like we were walking into a fantasy land full of blow up animals and model ice cream cones.
The next room was the runway decked out like an English beach with sparkling pier lights and fun fair models with “I do like to be beside the seaside” playing in the background.
The ladies that ruled the GQ Man of the Year Awards 2011
Last night’s GQ Man of the Year Awards may have been about the men, but out on the red carpet it was the ladies who stole the show. Among the A-list crowd were Charlize Theron, who bucked the trend of wearing a fancy frock by choosing a sophisticated trouser ensemble by Rouland Mouret. The Hollywood actress wore a pair of super wide-leg trousers and a pale purple silk blouse which she teamed with a high quiff hairdo. Pop princess Kylie Minogue was also in attendance, wearing a short sassy black lingerie-style dress from her favourite designers Dolce & Gabbana. While Lara Stone, the lady they named Best Woman of the Year at the Awards, kept things short and bold in a burnt orange Calvin Klein mini dress. Check out what these ladies plus Leona Lewis, Kelly Brook, Pixie Lott and The Saturdays wore to the GQ Man of the Year Awards by browsing our celebrity style gallery.

A Happy Tale of Low-Rise White Bell Bottoms
Picking out the perfect button. Photo: Kelly Stuart
In May, Scott Morrison quietly opened 3×1 at 15 Mercer Street in Soho. It’s part gallery, part store and part factory, where the man behind Paper, Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn can finally offer the ultimate bespoke custom denim experience.
“People just wander in,” he said, “wondering what’s going on.” Probably because it doesn’t look like a shop. One wall of the stark white space is lined with lucite frames showing off the jeans, another features rolls of denim. There’s a cutting table in the center and a glass box in which seamstresses sew each and every pair of jeans by hand. If, for example, you want to re-make your favorite pair of jeans, they can do that. If you’d rather pick one of the styles they have on hand—never more than 24 of one silhouette—they’ll tweak and hem them for you. If you don’t have a clue about where to start, they’ll help.
When I stopped by last week I only knew I wanted a low-rise bell bottom. Morrison calls the “mid-to-high rise straight leg a la Marilyn Monroe or Brooke Shields” the ultimate classic and I agree. But I figure if there’s ever a jean that should fit perfectly, it’s the bell bottom—and good luck finding a low-rise one on the market right now. I started trying on the versions they had in store and found the perfect fit, but didn’t love the denim. “How about in white,” I blurted out. Sure, a low-rise white bell bottom sounds awful in theory, but for some reason I was sure they’d be awesome. I picked a button, a zipper and the pocket design. No rivets—and no pockets in front—to keep them clean. Back in the office, my co-workers thought I’d lost it.
Your Morning Fashion and Beauty Report: Emma Watson, J.K. Rowling, Helena Bonham Carter wow at ‘Harry Potter’ premiere.
Fans gathered in Trafalgar Square on Thursday to glimpse the cast of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2″ on the red carpet for the London premiere of the final film in the series. And the celebrities didn’t disappoint. Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) stole the show in a pale blue, ruffled Oscar de la Renta ball gown. Author J.K. Rowling wore a green floral print, also by Oscar, and the constantly fashion-provocative Helena Bonham Carter (Beatrix LeStrange) was clad in a rather severe dark-green dress topped by a sugary confection of a fascinator. Among other notables, Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) wore short white minis, and Maggie Smith went the practical route, a lot as professor McGonagall may well, in black pants with a white coat topper. The gown Watson wore is from de la Renta’s fall 2011 collection. “Our inspiration for the Harry Potter world premiere was ‘Grace Kelly with a twist,’” said Anita Patrickson, Watson’s stylist. Patrickson finished Watson’s outfit with Giuseppe Zanotti slingback peep-toe shoes and jewelry from Boodles. [InStyle]
Later, for the afterparty, Watson changed into a knee-length, flirty white dress from Elie Saab’s spring-summer 2011 couture collection. [Telegraph]
