You deserve some fresh air in this sea of losing weight madness! (what? Wherever I turn my head, girls talk about shedding the copious Holidays added weight! And do not tell me you hadn’t notice?)
So, my daaahlings, newsflash: You’re Beautiful, Just the Way You Are! Time to go underwear shopping! (wink) Did you know that Kate Moss was the spokesbody for Valisere Lingerie? (it is a Triumph brand, hailing from France’s Val D’Isere region – hence the name) She’s searching great, as usually! (you know those days when I was complaining that Kate Moss was everywhere? Now I actually miss her – do you?)

Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2012 Collection
Amid overflowing, overwhelming speculations that this was Marc Jacobs’ last Louis Vuitton collection, I don’t think people feel ready to let him go to Dior. Just yet.
Although equally iconic, Dior would be the grown up stage of Marc Jacobs’ design. Unlike Louis Vuitton which is more like his playground. How else would he be able to transition for last year’s fetish injected collection to this year’s ethereal catwalk? Without being even the least offensive or cutting too many edges, Marc Jacobs’ Spring Summer 2012 collection for Louis Vuitton was poetical, flowery, really feminine and truly young.
It was so perfect that even Kate Moss wanted to be in it: she was the flowery bride (no, no smoking involved this time!), the last look on the catwalk. And she was perfect too. I loved the collection and I’m certain that those flowery skirts will be next summer’s fashion must. Aren’t you? (click through to see my selection and a video of the fashion show)

Kate Moss For Longchamp Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign
Let’s call this the Kate Moss day! Can we? After all, it’s Friday, July 01, 2011, the day of Kate Moss’ wedding! Can you believe it? The Mosstock is officially on a roll for an entire weekend of festive nuptial celebrations! (why Mosstock? Properly.. simply because so many have gathered to celebrate the Moss – Hince wedding that it’s commencing to resemble a music cum fashion festival! I hope much more details will emerge when the actual ceremony debuts)
So simply because this is the Kate Moss day, here’s her latest Longchamp Fall Winter 2011 2012 ad campaign. Photographed by Alasdair McLellan, the campaign looks extremely Kate, very British. (is it just me, or is she marketing only for her very own bag line from Longchamp? Either way, I won’t complain, the bags search dreamy beautiful and I would love any of them! Audrey Marnay Longchamp Fall Winter 2011 2012 Ad Campaign
I know it’s Kate Moss day but I can’t let the Longchamp thing go devoid of confirming that for the Fall Winter 2011 2012, Longchamp has a double ad occasion. Kate Moss advertises, indeed for Longchamp, only she’s promoting her personal Longchamp line, so there goes the official campaign of the brand, with Audrey Marnay.
Back for the second season with the French property, redheaded Audrey was styled accordingly – taking a comfortable pose on a motorcycle, Audrey poses against an auburn leaved décor. There’s just 1 image obtainable from the advertorial set and, from what the video exhibits us (do not miss it correct after the jump!), a lot more will adhere to as Mikael Jansson photographed Audrey Marnay on the motorcycle showcasing several bags. I believe this is a way much better styled ad than the Spring 2011 one, but nonetheless no match to Kate Moss. What say you? (Longchamp by way of)
Louis Vuitton Autumn Winter 2011 Press Day
Aside from the Kate Moss smoking a cigarette on the runway controversy back in March, Louis Vuitton‘s fall 2011 ready to wear collection really did wow us. After seeing it paraded down the Paris runway, we were excited to receive our invitation to go and view the collection up close and personal this week.
Creative director at the French design house, Marc Jacobs explained that AW11 inspiration began with women’s inexplicable obsession with bags, “And that got us started thinking about passions, and any of the disciplines that require effort and work and commitment”. The notion of strict discipline and fetish were clearly reflected in the collection, and became even more evident in the flesh.
Accessories took the form of extreme structured oversized patent waist belts which had a corset feel, metal peter pan collars, cuffed jewellery with restrictive chains, military style hats and sparkling Mask of Zorro type face-wear. I couldn’t help noticing the uniform aesthetic reflected in the clothing, with high collars and structured shaping. This was cleverly matched with contrasting textures highlighting the hard against the soft, the rough against the smooth with sheers, velvet, fur and patent leather.
Kate Moss McQueen Tribute Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2011
Another day, another Kate Moss cover! No, seriously, this time it’s big! Harper’s Bazaar UK has Kate Moss on the cover (the issue has two covers, and Kate is on both of them) of the May 2011 issue. And there’s a perfectly good explanation for that – an Alexander McQueen tribute issue!

It’s the same dress Kate was wearing in the new legendary hologram feature she did in the Fall Winter 2006 Alexander McQueen Fashion Show. Such an ethereal moment! One of my favorite in fashion. Everybody who knows anything about fashion knows about Lea T. What’s his story? What’s her story?
You can take the time, watch the video below, it’s an interview with Lea T where she talks about how life really is for her and how people look at her, how she and Riccardo Tisci came up with the idea of the Fall Winter 2010 campaign. Since I asked earlier what service does Love’s cover with Kate Moss kissing Lea I watched the video, looking for my answer. And I got it – none whatsoever except bringing her in the spotlight. Showing that the world cares for her kind.
