Missing Homeland: Vanity Fair TV Issue
It is interesting to see how the world hasn’t evolved considerably in the final fifty years. We’re nevertheless addicted to our Television sets, as considerably as we’d try not to! I mean, honestly, how can you not, with series like Homeland Security and Modern Family members? These are my absolute preferred Television Series proper now, and due to the fact I’m missing Homeland so significantly (they return subsequent year), I just had to speak about Vanity Fair’s Television Concern.
It’s not their best, obviously, the cover alone is as cliché as our love for Television series, but entertainment is what tends to make the world go round, and girls, white sheets and luxurious diamonds are portion of the smoke & mirrors media – culture. It’s like placing together all the components to have the perfect cheesecake. Julianna Margulies, The Good Wife. Claire Danes, Homeland Security. Sofia Vergara, Modern day Loved ones. Michelle Dockery, Downtown Abbey.

The White Dresses From 2012 SAG Awards Red Carpet
Even though you could hear differently, the true dominant color on the 2012 SAG Awards Red Carpet was white. White – ish, neutral. As the 2012 edition of the Golden Globes showed us already, the Red Carpet tendency is towards neutral and white. And last night’s ceremony was no exception to the trends.
If I’d had to choose a preferred, I’d absolutely go for Viola Davis in Marchesa. And Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture. Both of them took my breath away. There was even an awkward sartorial moment with Julianna Margulies and Katrina Bowden. The dresses they were wearing had been heartbreakingly related. Only they had been various. In particulars and label (Julianna was wearing Calvin Klein although Katrina Bowden was wearing Amsale. 2012 Golden Globes Red Carpet, The Colorful Dresses
Now that we’ve noticed the principal fashion coordinates of the 69th edition of the Golden Globe Awards, it is time for a little enjoyable! The closing report for this year’s edition of the Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globe Awards Ceremony focuses on the colorful dresses of the festive night.
Very good and poor, we’ve seen it ahead of, only this time it is Technicolor, baby! Let’s get to it! I was going to treat it separately as they’re two diverse batches in my opinion: the vibrant, bold and colorful and the blue & green dresses. So fear not if you’ll see them grouped as such below! Anything you don’t see in the primary article’s photos, it’ll be in the gallery (so if you want to jump and check out the pictures very first, click here). My favored two: Helen Mirren and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Both representing for the blue dresses.

Helen Mirren was amazingly elegant, comme d’habitude. Her deep blue Badgley Mischka dress flattered her in each way. She was a style lesson on heels! As for Sarah Michelle Gellar, her stylist advised her to go with something much less conventional on the 2012 Golden Globes Red Carpet: a dress that can’t go unnoticed but is not necessarily all that negative. It’s a color fusion blue and white Monique Lhuillier dress. I can’t say it looks stylish, but it’s certainly some thing that stands out.

Julianna Margulies In Bordeaux Yves Saint Laurent Dress 2011 SAG Awards
One of the colorful, yet safe dress choices of the night was Julianna Margulies. She showed up wearing a bordeaux Yves Saint Laurent dress. Simple, strapless, lovely, Julianna‘s gown was a perfect choice for her.
She was one of the winners tonight, at the 17th edition of the Screen Actors Guild SAG Awards 2011. She won an Actor for her performance in the TV Show The Good Wife. She couldn’t get any more radiant than she did when she first arrived on the Red Carpet, Julianna is always a stunner (at least when she picks the right dress for her body and personality, and this time, she did. Didn’t she?) (click here for the gallery!) (photos via)

A Star Studded Event

Yesterday evening Swarovski Elements added a bit of sparkle to the city when it hosted an exclusive charity auction at the acclaimed Phillips de Pury & Company auction house. The project—22 Ways to Say Black, raised an impressive 0,000 for breast cancer research through the auction of 22 one-of-a-kind little black dresses. Each frock was created by a distinguished designer or rising talent. Diane von Furstenberg, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Missoni were among the houses who designed a dazzling look to benefit the cause. Halle Berry, Julianna Margulies, and Sofia Vergara attended in in their own favorite LBD’s; they accessorized with Swarovski’s sparkling jewels. Suffice it to say, the benefit was one sparkling soiree! ~Kristina Kawas
