Even though you could hear differently, the true dominant color on the 2012 SAG Awards Red Carpet was white. White – ish, neutral. As the 2012 edition of the Golden Globes showed us already, the Red Carpet tendency is towards neutral and white. And last night’s ceremony was no exception to the trends.

If I’d had to choose a preferred, I’d absolutely go for Viola Davis in Marchesa. And Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture. Both of them took my breath away. There was even an awkward sartorial moment with Julianna Margulies and Katrina Bowden. The dresses they were wearing had been heartbreakingly related. Only they had been various.
