Nail Polish Strips? How about that? Would you (if you haven’t currently, that is) be willing to try this? Like regular tape only in polish – would that be a anxiety reducer, or what? No dry time, no fuss, is not that your nails dream lacquer?
I’m more conservative (you might say I’m not embracing modify, but hear me out): I adore my girly time – out when I’m performing my nails. Waiting for them to dry out is like a time – out extension. And where would I be with out a crooked French tip? I reside to see those white zig-zags on my nails! (every single time I promise myself I’d use tape and still forget all about it – cost-free hand French tips get genuinely messy occasionally!) Look Out for Star Sightings at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Though the stars will be out in full force on Fashion’s Night Out, there’s no word yet on who will remain in town for the rest of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. But according to our sources, this season is sure to please the paparazzi.
Rumor has it, the Kardashians aren’t go anywhere soon; they are expected to cheer on little sister Kylie Jenner, who is walking in Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn show. Leighton Meester will be sitting front row at Vera Wang, which makes sense as she is the face of Wang’s Lovestruck fragrance. Same goes for Dakota Fanning, who will take her seat runway-side at Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2012 show; she’s the Daisy girl. Diane von Furstenberg always draws a solid front row and this season will be no exception. Look out for Estelle and Molly Sims in DVF designs. No word yet on who BCBGMAXAZRIA, Diesel, Rag & Bone, or Donna Karan will be bringing in but those brands never disappoint!

Models Under 16 Will Probably Work Fashion Week Even Though the CFDA Is Against It

Each season, agencies send casting agents “show packages,” which are packs of cards with pretty pictures of models they want to work the shows. Jezebel noticed that some of the girls in those packages are 14 and 15 years old, while Fashionista has expressed concern over the news that half-Kardashian sister Kylie Jenner, who is 14, is walking Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn show, which is part of Style360, not Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (oh, and Avril Lavigne is not in the CFDA). So, it seems like designers trying to adhere to the CFDA’s urging that they not employ models under 16 might have to be vigilant about carding models, as the CFDA suggested they do. CFDA executive director Stephen Kolb told Fashionista, “We are not in a position to police or enforce these recommendations. We can only hope that they are followed and taken seriously.”

James Franco Fronts New Gucci Fragrance Campaign; Topshop Makeup Line to Launch in May

• James Franco stars in the campaign for Gucci by Gucci Sport Pour Homme, the new fragrance by Gucci. Designer Frida Giannini says it’s not about sports: “It’s more a sporty state of mind.” Franco’s sport seems to be swimming with clothes on. [WWD]
• Bond No. 9 will launch a fragrance inspired by the High Line Park on the West Side next month. The company claims that 80 percent of the notes for the scent come from plants and flowers that are on the High Line, and it’s meant to evoke “the Hudson River, urban wildflowers, and a hint of industrial grit.” [Blogdorf Goodman]
