Is Arizona Muse’s 90s Mom Hair the New ‘Do?
Arizona Muse, 1 of 2011′s breakout models, is poised to be enormous in 2012, too. She landed spring campaigns for both Fendi and Isabel Marant, an editorial in the December/January concern of Vogue Paris, and will cover Vogue UK’s February concern. Even though her eyebrows–and that alleged affair with Freja–are what got every person chattering about her last year, a thing distinct is causing some controversy this year: her new hair cut.
One thing about it is actually riling everyone up. Is it the length? The fluffiness? And though it pains us, we have to say it: It’s mom hair. She’s constantly had a shorter cut, but she really chopped a lot off lately. The pictures in the Vogue Paris spread do not genuinely hint at the a lot more straight-laced looks to come–her hair in those shots is wet-seeking and rock & roll.
If you read the current thread over at the Fashion Spot for her Vogue UK cover appear (top left), the word that comes up over and more than again is “matronly.” And we have to agree. So we went to our preferred hair guru, Chris Lospalluto, a stylist at the Sally Hershberger salon, for his expert take.
