Black and white is some thing of a Chanel staple, reinvented time and once again into combinations both classic and on-trend. At Chanel’s fall 2011 Haute Couture show Alexa Chung donned 1 such black and white ensemble. Utterly feminine with its white flounces, black ribbons, and black lace trim, she kept it easy and monochrome with black shoes and a classic black quilted handbag and although some pops of colour could also work, keeping it black and white is by far the most fool-proof way to wear a dress like this one.
