Ride a Ferris Wheel on Fashion’s Night Out

For the first time in my career I  sort of wish I could be in Beverly Hills during New York Fashion Week. That’s because the Rodeo Drive Committee has announced that nearly 55 of the street’s luxury retailers will participate in Fashion’s Night Out on Friday, September 10, 2010. And what’s more, the renowned shopping destination will boast the first ever Ferris wheel on the street. So after doing some late night shopping at Chanel, Gucci, Prada and Valentino and sipping some cocktail in between, customers who show their receipt will get a free ride for two on the Ferris wheel. How’s that for a glamourous block party? Live your Pretty Woman/ Clueless fantasy while experiencing the nostalgic wonderment of a classic carnival ride. ~Nola Weinstein
