Nicole Richie’s Designing for Macy’s
Nicole Richie—who already has Winter Kate, Residence of Harlow, and a line for QVC—is expanding her clothes empire again, this time with a capsule collection for Macy’s. The collaboration is far more than just coincidence: The two at present share airtime on style reality show Style Star—Richie as a mentor and Macy’s as a retail partner.
The 24 to 30-style Nicole Richie for Impulse collection, which will be sold in 100 Macy’s places as effectively as on the web at Macys.com come mid-September, focuses on prints—think peacock—and bright jewel tones. “This collection has a sturdy mix of masculine and feminine: printed chiffon mixed with faux leathers,” Richie told WWD. “I focused on the particulars, from the zipper pulls to the buttons.”
