Pop artist Keith Haring and shoe designer or should we call him the shoe-god Nicholas Kirkwood is teaming up and the result is just a-mazing!! Who ever said shoes was made for walking must have been high on something illegal. Just to make it clear: they’re not. Shoes are supposed to be crazy, amazing, high-heeled, designed to make you feel like the greatest women on earth : ) But it’s ok if you have one or two pairs of boring but comfy boots when you do need to walk for long : ) 12 styles in total will be available from February 2011. And psst, there will be some cool but amazing pair of ballerinas too for the you gals out there that are allergic to high heels.

“I watched this documentary called The Universe of Keith Haring, and though I know his style, I hadn’t seen the breadth of his work. I couldn’t stop thinking about how amazing and prolific he was and how great it would be to incorporate his graphics into my designs, Kirkwood explained.
