Juicy Couture Taps Erin Fetherston

Erin Fetherston, who is known for her feminine frills and whimsical creations, has been tapped as guest designer and creative director for Juicy Couture. And it’s a move that makes complete sense to us. Fetherston is a favorite among young Hollywood, with stars like Anne Hathaway and Taylor Momsen sitting front row at her shows and “it girls” like Zooey Deschanel and Kirsten Dunst starring in her unique video campaigns. Her Target Go! International Collection was a smash hit, with her hearts and ruffles appearing on girls of all ages from coast to coast. And while her eponymous label is a bit too expensive for her fans, we’re sure she can do wonders for the velour sweatsuit set. Fetherston will design the summer-fall 2011 and holiday 2011 collections, where detailed party dresses are certain to abound. ~Nola Weinstein
