Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Spring 2012 Amy Winehouse Inspired Collection

Now that’s a enjoyable Haute Couture occasion! Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture was such a stunning show, so colorful, so meaningful, so modern and anchored in our current reality! I loved it!

It was practically completely inspired by Amy Winehouse, which we know, was a source of fashion inspiration for several designers and brands (keep in mind her collection for Fred Perry). Jean Paul Gaultier produced this incredible couture soup based on Amy Winehouse’s dechiré style, added some corset and lace to spice things up and served it with a pinch of his usual rock’n’roll.
