Friday Frock: Warehouse Tropical Dots Dress
In 100% silk and a truly quirky, inventive print the Warehouse Floral Dots Dress at ASOS looks a lot more costly than its £65.00 value tag. The print is layered with sun-bursty polka dot patterns and pretty tropical flowers in vibrant pinks, purples, yellows and blues with some greenery for good measure. It is complex without having hunting also fussy. There is an almost ombre impact as the dress fades to dark background with much bigger flowers about the bottom of the skirt, more reminiscent of a Hawaiian print than the smaller, delicate blooms on the prime.
Contrast racerback straps add a contemporary really feel to the piece, and hold it from seeming overly girlie or frou frou. The gathered high waist is accented by a contrast self-tie sash.
