Harper’s Bazaar is coming to France! Hearst Magazine’s International and Groupe Marie Claire that publishes Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan in France, will launch a French edition of Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Wear Daily reported.

“[Launching in France is very important] because of the fashion heritage of France,” said Duncan Edwards, president of Hearst Magazines International. “I wish we launched there a long time ago.”

French journalist Alexandra Senes will oversee the magazine as editor-in-chief. The glossy will be published 12 times a year, targeting a “high-scale readership,” according to WWD. Senes is well versed in the magazine business, launching Jalouse magazine in 1998, working as editor-in-chief and contributing to L’Officiel and Architectural Digest. She founded SAS, a communications agency, hosted and produced a fashion series called “La Vitrine” for a French TV channel. She has curated fashion exhibits for department stores like Printemps and Le Bon Marchè. Most recently, she launched a clothing line sold at Colette called Kilometre.

Numerous editors were in the running according to Edwards but it was Senes’ enthusiastic ideas that set her apart. An official release date for the magazine hasn’t been released yet.

Conde Nast’s French Vanity Fair will hit newsstands June 26^th.

The international talent at Singapore’s Audi Fashion Festival is impressive: Carolina Herrera opened the event, Hussein Chalayan will close it. Friday’s schedule featured Tsumori Chisato. And Saturday brought Peter Pilotto, the London-based designer whose lauded collections are just as much about the fabrics and detailing as they are about his memorable computerized prints.

I spoke with Pilotto–whose six-year-old brand is on the cusp of some big things—just after the show.

Fashionista: Why did you decide to show in Singapore?
Peter Pilotto: [Upscale designer boutique] Club 21 is such an important partner for us here. They’re doing really well with the brand, so we always wanted to come here. When we got the invitation from the festival, we were so happy. I mean, apart from the fact that we’re presenting resort 2014 in two weeks in New York. That was the only doubt. But Christopher [De Vos, Pilotto's designer partner] said, “No, you have to go.” So he’s in London at the studio, working on resort.

Colin McDowell, the British fashion journalist, is also Audi Fashion Festival Singapore’s creative director. He’s such a force in the British fashion industry. How does it feel to know that he’s watching you?
It’s great. I was so happy to be considered for this project. There’s generally such a supportive network in London. Sarah Mower, the British Fashion Council. And now, Natalie Massenet who is the new chairman; she’s incredible. When we have a problem, we really just call her and she helps with the most random thing. And she’s happy to do that. It’s really unique. [The British fashion establishment] understands that one of the strengths of London is the new generation. Even though most of us have been around for five or six years, support is still needed. We sell to over 200 stores in 50 countries—it’s exciting.

Hussein Chalayan, who is closing the festival tomorrow, has talked in the past about why he’s never taken investment from a big conglomerate like Kerring. Is that something you think about? Would you take outside investment?
We are constantly working on our plan for the next years—and we do have big plans. So there will be the need for an injection of some cash.

You showed your fall 2013 collection tonight, which debuted in February. Did you do anything different, either in the styling or the hair and makeup?
It was kind of the same, but obviously it was a different casting. We wanted to get a big group of Asian girls. It was so cool to see. In a way it changes the collection.

With the season four premiere of Arrested Development just one week away, we decided to celebrate our love for this critically acclaimed comedy with a fashion post inspired by the dysfunctional, yet hilarious Bluth family.

In case you hadn’t heard, Arrested Development is being brought back from the depths of cancellation (after 7 years!) with a brand-new season that will stream exclusively on Netflix starting May 26th. (We could not be more excited!)

Michael Bluth

After his father is arrested for fraud and some “light treason,” it’s up to middle son Michael (Jason Bateman) to clean up the Bluth family’s image and sort through their financial and legal problems. Always the straight-man, Michael sticks by his motto of “family first” — even when they have him at his wit’s end. Also? Michael has the best facial expressions. Ever.

Add a textured button-up and ribbon-laced oxfords to give this traditional menswear-inspired outfit a slightly feminine vibe.

The bicycle-shaped bracelet is a nod to Michael’s main mode of transportation — aside from the stair car, of course — while a classic wristwatch is just as grounded and practical as Michael. Add a pop of color with a sturdy red satchel, then grab a notebook inspired by the infamous Bluth chicken dance. (Has anyone in this family ever even seen a chicken?)

Always the quick-witted schemer, Michael’s niece Maeby (Alia Shawkat) eventually moved on from her oft-failed attempts to rebel against her parents and conned her way into a job as a movie studio executive — at 15. Needless to say… marry me!

Maeby rocked mixed prints long before they were popular, so we’re going to recreate her style by pairing a striped tee with a printed A-line skirt. Add a versatile denim jacket as well as a pair of comfy canvas sneakers for a cute and low-key summertime look.

Accessorize with one of those rings with a “T” on it, then pin on a button donning Maeby’s catchphrase. Last but not least, use a curling iron to style your hair and get curly locks like Maeby’s.

Lucille Bluth

Michael’s mom Lucille (Jessica Walter) may not have the milk of mother’s kindness in her anymore, but she is the master of the well-timed eyeroll. Although she’s critical, conniving, and pretentious, Lucille is without a doubt my favorite character on the show. Why, you ask? I don’t understand the question, and I won’t respond to it.

Lucille doesn’t skimp on the accessories, so adorn yourself with a flashy cocktail ring and classic pearl earrings. Lastly, swap our your phone case with one that pays homage her fabulous wink.

This outfit would be a stylish choice for a nice dinner out or a similar dressy event. Wherever you go in this ensemble, just be sure to channel your inner-Lucille (if you’re 21-plus, of course!) and order a vodka rocks.

Tobias (David Cross) is not only Michael’s brother-in-law and Maeby’s father, but he’s also the world’s first analyst and therapist. He has an affinity for (unintentionally) spewing hilarious double-entendres, which has the rest of the Bluth family wondering about, well, The Man Inside Him.

Since Tobias is a never nude (it’s exactly what it sounds like), snag his look by pairing denim cut-offs with a colorful printed peasant blouse. A lightweight knit cardigan and slip-on sandals continue the casual feel of this summer-appropriate outfit.

Accessorize with a mustache-shaped ring and circle sunglasses — stylish versions of Tobias’ facial hair and glasses, respectively. For the finishing touch, blue yourself with a coat of cobalt-colored nail polish.

Remember those rumors of Rihanna designing a line for Topshop? They almost seem laughable with today’s news. The singer is reportedly suing the British brand to the tune of $ 5 million.

According to The New York Post, Topshop is selling T-shirts with her face on them without her consent and she is less than pleased. Her management has been trying to resolve the issue for the last eight months to no avail.

The singer has moved forward with legal action enlisting international law firm Reed Smith to handle the issue.

The t-shirts, dubbed the Icon Tank, are still available on Topshop’s site, but here’s the kicker. They’re described as a “photographic tank with a photographic motif of a girl wearing a headscarf.”

Ouch.

She’s just… Perfect! They won’t try with her what they could try with newer models, put them in a too-provocative pose. Christy is so iconic and flawless, radiant and just unbelievable all around, they won’t mess with her quality and lower it at a scandalous level of marketing. I’m thankful for that and I’m certain that Mario Sorrenti, who as also reportedly contracted to photograph the campaign, will deliver a great visual result. Welcome back Christy! We missed you!

The New York Post reported that Rihanna’s management team have been negotiating with the British high street chain, which is headed up by Sir Phillip Green, to try and resolve the situation for over six months but without success. Now they’ve drafted in a larger firm to take on the case against the Arcadia Group who owns Topshop.

The tshirt, which is reported to have sold out quickly, features a picture of Rihanna from her ‘We Found Love’ music video. A source at Topshop said, “This issue is related to a T-shirt provided to Topshop by a third-party supplier. We are aware it is the subject of litigation and it would therefore be inappropriate to comment.”
