Fall 2010 Fashion Week Preview: One Hour With Pamela Love

For designer darling Pamela Love, casting metal into her uniquely edgy creations, planning future collaborations with fashion’s finest, and a pop-in from Bon Jovi are all in a day’s work. Love let us into her West Side studio as she prepares for a busy few weeks ahead. First, her jewelry will grace the runway at Frank Tell, Twenty8Twelve, and three or four other shows (the girl has to keep a few secrets). Next, she'll hop a plane to Paris, where she'll build her very own installation at Colette. Though Love will not be presenting during New York Fashion Week (her fall 2010 collection is inspired by a recent trip she took to New Mexico with her boyfriend), the designer promises something "way bigger" than last season's chic-hippie-tented-cocktail-party come September. Now, back to Bon Jovi. The rock-star dad, adorably enough, dropped by the studio during our shoot to return a ring his daughter had recently borrowed from Love.
