Simpson, who already sells every thing from shoes to jeans to sunglasses below her Jessica Simpson Apparel collection, has partnered with Destination Maternity for a line hitting retailers this Fall, WWD reports. “I’m [pleased] to partner with Destination Maternity to style a collection of fashionable styles that make you appear and feel great,” Simpson stated. “You want to put on clothes that are flattering to your baby bump you want to show your bump off.” The collection has a vintage ’70s feel and contains denim in a number of washes, leggings, print tops, maxi dresses, blazers, and chunky sweaters, retailing in the range of $ 36 to $ 69.

Horror is becoming Chloe Moretz’s wheelhouse: she played a vampire in Let Me In, a werewolf in Dark Shadows, and now she’s circling a function that would complete the terrible trifecta, Variety reports. Moretz is mulling the title role in Maggie, about a farm girl slowly turning undead flesh-eater in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, which would start production in September. And let’s not forget that she recently signed on to play Carrie in the upcoming remake of the classic horror film.
It’s stark distinction compared to 15-year-old Moretz’s contemporaries, who have been selecting far more youthfully innocent roles: 15-year-old Hailee Steinfeld is set to play Sleeping Beauty and Juliet in a classic Romeo and Juliet telling, although 14-year-old Elle Fanning is also playing Sleeping Beauty in the upcoming Maleficent.

New Details on Carine Roitfeld’s Documentary

Carine Roitfeld has a lot coming up: a new fashion magazine, a makeup collaboration with MAC, the impending birth of her initial grandchild, and a documentary. New details have surfaced on the latter: It’s named Mademoiselle C., Screen Day-to-day reports, and is being billed as “an upbeat, fly-on-the-wall documentary” that is “a lot of entertaining.”
Director Fabien Constant—who also followed Roitfeld around for a brief film final year—has apparently been granted unprecedented access to Roitfeld’s life, each private and expert, as she operates on the launch of her magazine, CR. Added interviews are already confirmed with Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld, and Donatella Versace, with more expected to come, and shooting is currently nicely under way. Cameras were following Roitfeld about in the course of Paris Fashion Week in March—and will continue up until the launch of CR this September.
