Ab Fab‘s Patsy and Edina Snag Alexis Bittar Campaign

If you doubted that Completely Fabulous was going to be in a position to stage a comeback, effectively, you are incorrect. They pulled off a successful Christmas specific (featuring Stella McCartney nonetheless), more episodes are forthcoming, and a feature film is reportedly in the functions. So what now?

The AbFab ladies just scored an marketing campaign with jeweler Alexis Bittar. Vogue UK caught up with the ladies and designer at the campaign shoot.

Edina and Patsy don lots of bangles and kitschy New York Americana, and vamp for the camera. Joanna Lumley (aka Patsy) told Vogue: “Such a fabulous shoot in the glorious jewellery from Alexis it was sensational and I am thrilled with the pieces I have from his generous talented hands. Patsy was transfixed by the good quality and wants lots much more forever. I hope the campaign rocks: I am a fan for life.” Bittar confirmed that the love-fest was mutual, saying, “I’ve watched each single episode at least 50 occasions, so I was excited to meet and get to function with them. We had so much enjoyable on set the ladies are so at ease in those characters, as soon as they slipped on the jewels and clothes it was such a transformation – it was like, bam: right here we are sweety dahhhling.”
