A Year in the Style of Miranda Kerr!

Miranda Kerr on the Chanel, Viktor & Rolf, Lanvin catwalks
How unbelievable that the year Australian model Miranda Kerr has her initial child is also the year that she cleans up at the catwalk shows? Since 2007, the 28-year-old beauty was identified as one of the hottest Victoria’s Secret Angels, but 2011 was the year La Kerr became high fashion. From Balenciaga to Dior, Miranda was strutting her stuff on all the major runways at Paris Fashion Week and that is not all – we totally dig her off-duty style too.

Miranda Kerr’s off-duty style
Granted, her amazing body assists but Miranda has a distinct style that functions for her and she rarely ventures out of her comfort zone (if it’s operating, why bother?!). For summer, that indicates simple tees (typically grey marl) teamed with flippy printed skirts worked with either cowgirl suede booties or fabulous flat sandals. But despite becoming from sunnier climes, Mrs Bloom has in no way looked better than she did this Autumn / Winter. Her laid-back, edgy mix of leather shorts and mini skirts, printed blouses (she has a penchant for Isabel Marant), Breton stripe tops and ankle boots actually cut the fashion mustard.

Miranda Kerr’s red carpet wardrobe
She makes minimal masculine tailoring look sexy by exposing just the appropriate amount of her never-ending pins and we do not feel we’ve had so numerous calls at Grazia HQ as we did about MK’s grey winter coat. If you weren’t one of the readers that phoned in, let us reveal that Miranda’s coat is by Margiela, and Zara do a rather brilliantly similar number.

In fact Miranda’s got the effortless chic thing down so nicely, you would be forgiven for presuming she had been Parisian. So we say bravo! We cannot wait to see what she comes up with in 2012…
