MTV Movie Awards 2012: Emma Watson, Mila Kunis, Kristen Stewart & more
Representing the Brits at the MTV Movie Awards 2012 was Emma Watson. The 22-year-old Harry Potter actress rocked up in an edgy sci-fi style tie dye racer back dress by Brood and strappy black sandals by Tabitha Simmons. I particularly love the zip detailing on her dress.
Other starlets to grab my attention at the Hollywood occasion had been the ever-stunning Mila Kunis. The Black Swan star showed off these enviable pins in an orange and black sheer minidress. It wasn’t 1 of the extremely looks I’ve noticed on her, but it was excellent to see her bring some colour to the awards ceremony. At last night’s MTV Awards, Kristen Stewart picked up her fourth award for ‘Best Kiss’ from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Element 1 in a futuristic quantity by GUiSHEM. The silver body-con creation featured coloured panels and her typical messy bed hair style. But perhaps my favourite red carpet looks came from Elizabeth Banks in a black Elie Saab jumpsuit and Charlize Theron in a red peplum frock by Lanvin.
Check out what these celebs and other people including Emma Stone, Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci, and Julianne Hough wore by flicking by means of our gallery of photos. Then tell us, which starlet was your favourite appear from the MTV Film Awards?
Exclusive: Abaeté’s Laura Poretzy Garcia is Back With New Swimwear Line Été
Remember Abaeté? The line initially began back in 2003 as a line of swimwear inspired by designer Laura Poretzky’s summers in Rio. The suits garnered a cult following Poretzky expanded Abaeté into a full prepared to wear line shown to critical acclaim on New York’s runways from 2007 to 2009. Abaeté quietly shuttered in 2010, Laura Poretzky became Laura Poretzky Garcia (she married musician Diego Garcia and had a child), and we hadn’t heard significantly from her…until now.
Poretzky Garcia has returned to her swimwear roots with a new swimwear line, Été Swim, which produced its debut on Moda Operandi this weekend. The line came about thanks to Moda’s co-founder Lauren Santo Domingo, who brought Poretzky Garcia with each other with Lily Dickerson Maddock, formerly the head of knitwear label liDi, who heads up the organization side as the President of Été.
So what’s Été all about? Why one more swimwear line and why now? We asked Poretzy Garcia.
