Here star stylist Lori Goldstein, whose Logo by Lori Goldstein collection is available on QVC, shares her tips on what to wear during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week:
Comfort is vital for Fashion Week because you’re running non-stop, sitting, standing, waiting for cabs, rushing constantly. So do comfort with a major new jacket that you love, and fabulous, fabulous shoes. A great jacket and shoes – and your favorite new purse – will pull any look together. Layer on the jewels and scarves – accessories are the soul to a wardrobe, because although it’s important to be comfortable, you need to feel confident and majorly chic at all times. And don’t forget sunglasses – the oversized classic Celine’s in any color are perfection.
My favorite picks: There’s a Chanel jacket that has fringe trim that looks like a cape, Valentino’s lace motorcycle boot, Logo by Lori Goldstein’s wool fedora in rich, forest green. Oh, the Logo faux fur collar is heaven. And a pant with a low crotch is my fave proportion for fall… I’m going shopping for a bag in next few weeks.. Can’t wait! Keep you posted!! ~ Lori Goldstein

First Look: Inside the Piperlime Pop-up
Online retailer Piperlime is opening its first pop-up store in Soho tomorrow, offering an impressive selection of shoes, handbags, jewelry, and clothing. The sprawling space is unusually polished for just a month-long endeavor — no haphazard rolling racks or overflowing discount bins here — neatly organized into sections by trend, from vintage-inspired to English-chic to military. The pop-up touts around 100 of the site’s regular labels, including Marc by Marc Jacobs, Cynthia Vincent, Nanette Lepore, rag & bone, Beyond Vintage, 7 For All Mankind, L.A.M.B., and more.
