Acne debuts at London Fashion week
I’ve never been eager of running around at London Fashion Week, but as a true sweed (haha) and a big fan of Swedish brands, these news is great and they make me want to to go LFW even more, and it’s not oooonly to hang out with the amazing Yvan Rodic as previous seasons. Acne will from this coming fall be showing their well-done, amazingly, craving causing collections in London. Be there or be…missing something extra ordinary good!!!

Normally, I don’t give you tips on other fashion blogs, since u can find all the important juicy fashion gossip, trends and more here. But since my friends Shantal and Vincent are behind this new but uber-funny blog, I actually encourage you to go and visit. You wont be disappointed. They are not only obsessed with Anna Della Russo, but they more or less hang out with her : ) Ps. Vince is sooo cute, you’ll fall for him in nooo time : )

Inappropriate McQueen window display at Selfridges
Selfrideges Alexander McQueen display involving a over-sized lamp and a black McQueen dress hanging from it in their Manchester store has caused talk about it’s inappropriateness because of the designers suicide a few months ago. He hanged himself in his London apartment a while ago and the store has now apologized for it’s in-sensitive window display:
“Presenting a fashion item from the new Alexander McQueen collection hanging was never intended to be linked to the designer’s untimely death or how he died,” it said. “Nearly all the new season items from our new window scheme, The Desirables, showcased in both our London and Manchester stores, are hung artistically on their own to present them as even more extraordinary. However, we do acknowledge that, in retrospect, presenting the dress in our Manchester Exchange Square store in this way was a mistake, and would like to apologise if this particular window has upset anyone. The dress has been removed and replaced by another designer’s garment.”

The First Family is vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine, and Michelle Obama showed off her laid-back weekend style when she stepped out today in a ruffled gray tank top and cropped black pants. The FLOTUS accessorized with sparkly stud earrings, a silver necklace, a blue tote bag, and jeweled black sandals that showed off her green pedicure. Sip the Two Piece Cocktail
One of the best parts about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim is the abundance of refreshing cocktails that make the heat far more bearable. Last night at the opening of Surf The Webster on Collins Avenue we had the opportunity to check out the famed Miami boutique’s new collection of beach wares and to try out this delicious drink from fenom Modern Absinthe. Strong and smooth, this one is sure to be a hit this summer. Try it out for yourself!
The Two Piece
6 mint leaves
1 half wheel of orange
1.75oz fenom
.75oz lime juice
.75oz simple syrup
1 – 2oz ginger ale
*Muddle mint and orange together. Add fenom, lime, and simple syrup. Then shake, and strain over ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with an orange slice. Serve, sip, and repeat.
