Irina Shayk is the 24-year-old Russian model girlfriend of soccer superstar and Armani face Cristiano Ronaldo. She is not the woman who just had his baby (that was a surrogate), but you probably could have guessed that from these behind-the-scenes images of her shoot for swim label Luli Fama that don’t appear to have been retouched. Something about Christy Turlington will always make her look fresh and beautiful, no matter her age or the trends époque we’ll be experiencing. Gracing the August 2010 issue of Vogue Italy, Christy Turlington (as photographed by Steven Meisel) exudes that Italian kind of femininity and sensuality I don’t really get.

A Fun Tory Burch Interview by eBay’s Style Director, Constance White
When she first launched her eponymous fashion & lifestyle line in February 2004, Tory Burch went against the minimalist trend so popular at the time, designing her downtown NYC flagship to feel less like a "store" and more like you were visiting her home, complete with touches like orange lacquer doors, mirrored walls, and Lucite fixtures. And when Oprah named her a new designer "to watch"…8 million hits later and an empire was launched on the heels – or, in this case, flats: the iconic gold-medallion adorned "Reva" ballet slipper. "My mother Reva has been a huge influence in my life both personally and professionally," the designer tells Constance in a new interview on eBay's The Inside Source. "She is always so supportive of me and is a constant source of inspiration in our collections. She has always been my good luck charm, so it is fitting that the shoe I named after her has become a favorite."
With a new European boutique opening this fall, Tory is a bosslady extraordinaire at the helm of a global empire, however, she still antiques with mom, travels extensively for design inspiration, and trolls eBay (also one of our fave daily obsessions "hobbies") for steals and deals. "It is a great place to find lost treasures—where else can you find so much Ossie Clark or vintage Liberty prints?"

Ever since it started, I tried to look beyond the dorkyness of wearing socks with shoes or sandals. For us, women. Because there’s something girl-ish and school-ish about wearing socks with sandals that gets the dubious combo to the next level of trendyness.
