Emporio Armani And Reebok EA7 Collection 2010
Of course we’re all pro Converse here and we’re enjoying the daily Converse routine. However, it’s good to know what’s happening in the wild, wild world of sneakers for a better appreciation of our one star/all star favoritism.
Emporio Armani has teamed up with Reebok for a special collection: EA7/Reebok. Ready to hit stores this very July 2010, the limited collection wants to offer customers with sportish views the haute couture possibility. There’s more to the collection than the following sport shoes, which in my books, come down as pretty unaesthetic, however I was hoping for Reebok to not jump on the tacky for the sake of couture (ahem profit) bandwagon. What’s that black shoe, there? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? (via)

KZO Gibson Sweat Shorts
OK, third time is a charm. Another pair of sweat shorts. You all just loved the last two sets we put up. KZO’s Gibson shorts may work for you. “A soft pair of sweat-shorts with buttons at the hem for a slight taper option. Zip pockets, key hoop hardware and drawstring waistband.” Now, at 165$US (from ODIN) they may still be up there for some. I personally think these may be the best pair we have found yet. If you got better, please do recommend over.

Kerry Washington is one Chic Lady who Lunches
So much for St. John suits and Chanel tweeds; we love Kerry Washington’s refreshing take on what to wear to a Park Avenue luncheon. Washington was on hand Tuesday afternoon for a lunch to celebrate Sony Picture Classics’ film Mother and Child, in which she stars alongside Annette Bening and Naomi Watts. Jane Fonda and Tina Brown hosted the festivities, which took place at Christine Schwarzman’s home. Washington’s gray leather jacket and white mini brought a bit of youthful style and edge to the room.

While Manhattan is decidedly unfriendly when it comes to cars, the City of New York has an undeniable history with the automobile.
