Kate Moss Explains Her Longchamp Collection

And because we just can’t get enough of Kate Moss, and surely because we can’t get enough of bags-talk, here’s our darling Kate explaining her Longchamp collection. The whys and the hows. Somewhat…

A clutch is one of those things that will be around for a while. They’re just so classic, really — I’ve got clutches from the ’30s, in that envelope style that’s really simple and not too overdone. This one is part of the collection that I just designed for Longchamp, and you can actually stuff a load of things in it and bash it around. The leather is textured to look like shagreen, which I love. Most bags are too heavy to carry things in, and so many of them are stiff, and you know it’s going to take years to mess them up. I like things that are already worn in, something tactile that’s going to be comfortable on your skin. When I was working on the collection, I showed it to my daughter, but she’s a bit — you know. She just said, “Yeah, it’s all right.” She prefers bling and Hello Kitty. She says she doesn’t like Hello Kitty anymore, but I know she really does. I mean, I love it, too. I just nabbed her Hello Kitty makeup bag, in fact. What can I say? I like a mismatch. (via)

Jessica Alba in Double Denim

jessica alba 7 for all mankind denim%20jacket double denim jt 440 Jessica Alba in Double Denim

Jessica Alba has proven her self a real denim aficionado over the years, constantly being spotted in the latest it jeans and denim trends. I am so curious what her denim collection looks like. Jessica works the double denim trend with her 7 for All Mankind Denim Jacket in Vintage Allston. She’s been spotted in this exact jacket more times than I can remember. That must be quite a compliment to 7 for All Mankind to see a denim connoisseur like Jessica Alba wear their jacket repeatedly.
