Coco Rocha is engaged! Her now-fiancé, James Conran, owner of interior-design company James Conran Design, popped the question to the 21-year-old Canadian last week and she blogged the news this morning. “Mr. Conran proposed last week and I most definitely accepted,” she wrote. “I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy as I am right now. Dressed Up Apples By Jaqueline Dufresne
I love apples! And most of all, my kids love apples! Even our dog loves apples! Everybody loves apples! So it comes as the most natural thing to keep them apples safe and sound!
That being said, I admit I never really thought about Apple Jackets! Luckily, someone did! Jacqueline Dufresne’s Apple Jackets take an ordinary apple and turn it into a highly fashionable one! Her hand knitted jackets can be bought for $20. Don’t you just love that absolute button loveliness? (via)

On Sunday I volunteered at an event called Milk + Bookies which encourages children to be their best and philanthropic by giving books to those in need. I must disclose that my high school requires community service hours each year (as do many) and this is my God Mother Meredith Alexander’s program, and it’s a good one. Many celebrities showed up for the event which was held in Los Angeles, Jennifer Garner who is so pretty in her 7 For All Mankind Jeans, also read “The Seven Silly Eaters” to the kids, Twilight’s Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth (who opted for Anoname’s “Chloe” Boyfriend Jean in “Redlight Light”) also came with their kids as did Will Farrell (who was hilarious reading aloud). If you’d like to find out more about how to have a local Milk + Bookies event where you live, they’ve partnered with Barnes and Noble to make it easy for you… as the slogan goes “Read, Give, Grow!”.
