Couturious Makes Online Shopping Far More Stylish

But Couturious.com, a new styling and shopping site from the founders of Like.com and Covet.com, is taking things one step further and making the process more fashionably realistic. Users have the opportunity to build a look on a mannequin by adding a variety of separates and accessories. Creating the perfect outfit is made into a virtual experience with advanced 3D visuals. When you tuck in a shirt it bunches, when you put the model in heels she rises, when you add a bag it slings over the shoulder at the correct angle, and if you want to tuck your pants into a pair of boots, that’s possible too! Once you have completed your look you can buy each piece from an online retail partner. Lucky for us, brand’s like Tory Burch, Charlotte Ronson, Yigal Azrouel, Tibi, Cynthia Rowley, and Alice + Olivia will release their Fall 2010 collections to Couturious before they hit other dress up sites. Moschino’s whimsical and cheeky designs have kept the stylish entertained and well dressed for quite some time. The world famous fashion label has brought it’s flair to the hotel industry with the grand opening of the Maison Moschino. Located in Milan on Viale Monte Grappa 12, the hotel feels like a luxurious and intimate mansion. The neoclasssical building, which dates back to 1840, was once the city’s first railway station; it’s facade has been preserved and restored but it’s interior has been transformed into a fantasy-land. “When I enter, I feel as if I’m at home. Like all familiar places, its warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel protected,” said Moschino’s creative director Rossella Jardini. “It is completely unlike other hotels, and it also has the courage to reveal the high-quality workmanship that built it. It’s a special place, which is why it’s called Maison Moschino.”
Each of the 64 rooms is like a fairytale come true with 16 quirky design schemes. There’s the “Petal’s Room,” where the bedspread seems covered in red rose petals, the “Sweet Room” which is decorated with delectable delights, the “Forest Room” which makes for a natural slumber and several others. Our favorite is the “Sleeping in a Ballgown” chamber, because who wouldn’t want to doze on a plush velvet dress?
The fashionable hotel features Chef Moreno Cedroni’s Clandestino restaurant, the lush Culti Spa, and ofcourse the Maison Moschino boutique where guests can stock up the brand’s iconic red hearts. Book a room for guarenteed sweet dreams! ~Nola Weinstein

Nicky Hilton rocked this eye-popping silk chiffon Diane von Furstenberg Erosa dress to the grand opening of Butter in North Carolina. Hilton was on hand to help owners Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva celebrate their new bi-level nightclub in Charlotte. We’ve been loving this upbeat frock all season and were thrilled to see it on Hilton. It’s the kind of dress you can wear under a blazer to work and with a fabulous pair of platforms for a night out.
