I simply love this black and white floral Vionnet gown that Carey Mulligan wore at the BAFTA Awards last night. She also won Best Actress for her role in An Educaton.
Vera Wang Dresses Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek
Vera Wang’s Fall 2010 collection was a winner and so was the man she dressed for the Winter Olympics. American figure skater Evan Lysacek wore a custom black skating costume with a Swarovski-encrusted snake collar to bring home the gold medal Thursday evening in Vancouver. Wang was on hand for the momentous occasion in a matching serpentine cuff bracelet. The designer, a former figure skater herself, has dressed many of the sport’s greatest. We love that she has mastered the runway and the ice!

Yves Saint Laurent for Atelier NYC Spring 2010 Looks
Following up on our story, “Yves Saint Laurent for Atelier NYC,” we bring you some more looks from collection. As mentioned, “Yves Saint Laurent’s Stefano Pilati has collaborated with Atelier New York on a capsule men’s collection for spring. We’re told the 17 pieces, produced entirely in Italy, retain all the luxury you’d expect from YSL, but injected with the gothy goodness.” They seem to be right. The model in our original story now has the model turned toward us to get a better look into what you’ll be able to lay your hands on.

Swarovski’s Alice in Wonderland-Inspired Jewelry Collection
First Tom Binns launched his limited edition Alice in Wonderland inspired collection of baubles, then Stella McCartney followed suit. Now Swarovski is headed down the rabbit hole. In celebration of the much anticipated Tim Burton film, the crystal producers are launching a new collection of jewels. The necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings each capture one of the film’s characters with vintage and gothic details. Fantasy plays an integral role in the designs with the Red Queen, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat finding their way into pendants and charms. The Flower Garden gets a tribute of its own as does the famous tea party scene. The collection will be available this Spring in Swarovski boutiques nationwide.
